Definitely a5☆ bar . Friendly , welcoming staff . Good range of keg beers and lagers . Also good range of single malts . Good juke box and pool table and a nice outside smoking area .

Great place with great banter . Everytime i am back home in wick i go here ,its my local pub that I've been going to for over 30years . Brilliant pub with very friendly people and staff.

If you are in Wick, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Mountain Dew. An absolute gem of a pub, with a really friendly local crowd and equally friendly bar staff. I am not a local, but after my first pint I had a group of friends to chat with that made me feel right at home and welcome. Cheers to the Mountain Dew.

By fat the best bar in the area. Very unique in character and a recently refurbished Fisherman's bar" . There's many tales to be told by the locals of local history and legends. I would highly recommend calling in for a drink or 3. Very friendly staff and they also have a great pool table to go with their great whisky selection. A truly inspirational place to visit for me. They also have live music on from time to time."
