The Ivy City Garden
With its classic decor and attentive service, the establishment lived up to its reputation.Venturing into their praised Asian offerings, I indulged in a coconut curry that was nothing short of spectacular. As for my companions, they opted for the Burger and a hearty steak with pepper sauce. While my curry undoubtedly stole the show, the other dishes held their ground in flavor and presentation.Dining at The Ivy isn't just about the food; it's about becoming a part of its storied legacy, even if just for an evening.

Fabulous afternoon with superb food, great wines and attentive staff. The restaurant was busy (it was a Saturday) so the service could have been a little quicker, perhaps another staff member needed? Overall a superb day catching up with longtime friends!

A really nice place for breakfast. Staff is really kind and professional. The indoors are glorious. It’s a pleasure just to chill here and catch up with friends over good food.

This place attracts a business crowd for lunches, with many people in suits. However, the taste of the food didn't meet the expectations set by its reputation and prices. It's alright, but the lack of alternatives would be the only reason I'd consider going again. On a positive note, they do have a vegan menu available upon request.

I had the pleasure of going to The Ivy 'off the cuff' with a great friend of many years on 15/12/23. We couldn't be accommodated at a table but were immediately accommodated with seating at the bar. We ate from the Brasserie menu and had non-alcoholic cocktails. Everything was so delicious!! We totally overspent but it was well worth it :D

We went into the Ivy later on after a long day travelling for some food and a few drinks. We were warmly welcomed and invited to sit at the bar. We ordered two Gin and Tonics and for £12.50, they were disappointing. Aside from not being asked what preference of gin we had, they were served with warm bottles of tonic. Not really what you expect at that price point.I ordered the truffle burger and my friend the fish and chips. After some deliberation by the waiting on staff, the meal was placed in front of us.The fish was cooked well and was tasty. The burger was poorly seasoned and lacked any real flavour. Both portions of chips were cold.We had to flag staff down several times for drinks and indeed to order food. When trying to order food, we asked who we perceived to be a manager who directed us to a colleague. After a brief discussion, the perceived manager proceeded to take our order. All very odd.It took some 5 or so minutes to locate us some cutlery.Staff were more interested in cleaning, restocking and chit chatting, than being attentive.Overall, a very poor experience from a brand that promises much more.

Have had a few meals here and always enjoyed them!Great location and venue in the heart of the city.Enjoyed belated birthday breakfast celebration today with a few friends.Nice breakfast menu and although we didn’t take the festive breakfast menu it did sound very nice and great value!Great friendly service from start to finish.Certainly lives up to its legacy!Highly recommended!

Great place for a casual meal. Very extensive menu. Not too expensive and the portions are rather large.

We liked the restaurant. Service could be better as our drinks came really late and wrong at first. Food was delicious. Recommended place. Shepherd’s pie was great.
