I purchased a Volkswagen Golf GTD reg HJ67 YGR this year from Evans Halshaw Newport that was faulty. I owned this car for 2 days max and when I tried to return the car they tried to pull the no refunds trick. Luckily enough they accepted to take the car back that had a gearbox issue however they took about 2 months returning the money into my account which was unacceptable. The people who worked there don't seem to care and I had a very poor SLA experience.

David went above and beyond to make sure I had my vehicle in the time scale promised! Absolutely over the moon with my Vivaro Ultimate! Would never go back to a fuel vehicle again! Communications and updates were amazing and cannot fault them at all A***

By far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything! These people do not care one ounce.From not being able to get through to anyone on the phone, promised call backs that never happened to the disgusting attitude of staff. Waiting 2 months to get into the garage to be told it cannot be fixed for another 2 months and being charged £78 for the labour. To letting my wife and 8 month old baby drive off after telling her the oil needed immediate topping up and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree which wasn't happening when it went in.I cannot express how bad these people are. I would never in a million years even think of dealing with them again.

We have our service and MOT with Evans for the past 3 years.the service from start to finish is amazing.alway offer a Courtesy car for when are car is in.the lady on check in is helpful polite and funny.It is amazing to receive a text with the work that needs doing. you also get pictures and videos if your car in the garage showing you the process.A lovely bonus they clean your car inside and out.highly recommended.

Ordered my car in June '23 and Dave couldn't have been more helpful. Explained everything to me but said unfortunately I'd have to wait 9 months. However I received a call 5 months early and I'm picking the car up today. He again went through everything explaining what I needed to know and answered any questions I had.Thanks very much

Peter who works in store has always been so friendly, helpful and approachable and whenever we have any questions or concerns is also happy to put us at ease and make sure we are confident and happy.James has also been a godsend in helping us and gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result.
