Taekwondo Academy

WHERE DO I START?! Rude staff, not enough teachers in the class to support the children and tiny premises. 1 too many rude encounters with the owner and wife of the business was enough to take my children from the academy. My observations of the academy are as follows: lack of professionalism.Not enough support for the young children.money hungryCustomer service is at an all time 0WOULD NOT RECOMMENDLOOL charity? I paid every week barring April when my children were absent. Your response is proof that you’re a vile people. You tried to use autism as an insult against my children. Good luck with your failing academy. How’s that for a review. Setting up standing orders for parents without permission? I’d say that’s very money hungry!!! Shouting at parents in front of student and parents is very unprofessional. I have the proof and I have no problem blasting you over the internet. Anyway you’ve had enough of my time. Bye low life’s.

I have had two children attend the academy. One child in the 2000's and one child now in the 2020's. The academy is fantastic for the art form taught, the discipline that the children grow to learn and for the overall fitness.Master WM is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend if you have children or even if you're an adult that this academy is your only option!

My daughter has attended the academy for over 3 years. In this time she has gone from being a withdrawn and nervous child, and blossomed into a assertive and confident teenager.Great care and attention is given to each pupil if needed and this ensures that a high standard of teaching filters through to all.I would highly recommend this academy if you have kids. Its a great way to keep healthy, build their confidence and install disciplines, which they can use in their day to day lives.

My daughter is a student at the Taekwondo Academy and she totally enjoys it. Her drive in wanting to learn is great, after every class she can't wait for the next session. Impressive teachings come from this academy and all within a friendly and energetic environment.

Great place, available to all age groups, kids love it and the quality of teaching and coaching is high standard proven successful methods. The best part when you see local students making nationally and internationally as well as two-time Olympic medallist Lutalo Muhammad still visit and train here. Place full of positive vibe which always reflects on everyone joining the club.I would like to thank the family running this great place specially Wayne for the incredible work, effort and the great personality and smile you put on everyone's face means alot.

I've been a student at this academy for about 4 months now and have learned so much, improved my fitness and met lovely people who all share a passion for taekwondo. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Master Wayne is amazing at what he does, he makes everyone feel welcome, challenged (in a good way), and coming away from each lesson having improved themselves physically and mentally. I look forward to my next grading and to further developing my skills at this academy.

My 12yo daughter went to this academy for about a year. She transferred in from another London dojo as a red belt. Master Wayne is amazing to deal with for both parents and students. An excellent teacher of the arts. His son, Lutalo, (aka two time Olympic champion), regularly teaches here as well. And I have to say what a *beast* the son is! So inspiring for the kids to have that level of talent and wisdom at their fingertips! We will sorely miss this academy that accepted our daughter as one of their own. The only reason we sadly moved on ... was because it was a super long drive for us and inevitably difficult to keep as part of our daughter's schedule. Taekwondo student oath forever!

The instructor comes with many many years of experience - he is patient and knowledgeable, you will be in good hands. The environment is very welcoming to veterans and newcomers alike and you'll have the opportunity to get in-shape while learning useful skills/techniques.

I have trained here for a long time and feel at home here, everyone is friendly and encouraging. I am always learning and there is a good grading system to be able to see your own progress. I have seen improvements to my fitness and martial arts techniques. Thursday nights are great to practice sparring in a safe way. The added bonus is making friends too!

My daughter has been attending this academy for 8 years and is currently working towards her 2nd Dan black belt. I would highly recommend this academy because not only has it taught my daughter to defend herself if need be, it has also helped her grow in confidence, integrity, perseverance and focus. The teaching instructor and staff are welcoming and committed to bringing out the best in each individual student. The environment and equipment are of a high professional standard.
