Still beautiful even in the rain. Best time to visit is autumn when the trees are so colourful. Nice little cafe in a log cabin.

Low House Wood is a carpark for Bolam Lake. It houses toilets and a small refreshment booth which is open at weekends and school holidays.

Bolam lake is a lovely way to spend an hour or so. Nice to walk around the lake.

Fantastic day out for the family. There is a lake with ducks and swans, with lots of other wildlife. You can walk around the lake, on your journey round you will come across s café so you can stop and have a quick beverage. Around the lake you can see some other fantastic little hidden jems, go find them. Really great day out take a picnic and make aa day of it.

One of three car parks for Bolam Lake in Northumberland. Busy at weekends and bank holidays. Pay at the machine or by phone. Shady parking spaces amidst the trees.

Absolutely stunning lake/park but the car park closes, and it closes extremely early. 8pm in summer which is before the sun set which is a real shame, and 4pm in winter so we can't visit in the winter time week days. Again a real shame, I understand it gets dark but owl watching/stargazing is great too!
