If you can actually get through to anyone, they are often quite helpful if you schmooze a little. They usually sound utterly jaded and defensive but you can turn them around. The issue is actually getting hold of anyone...The IVR is a joke and has been designed by a nut job. My guess, it's not the people at the coal face who are really the issue, but poor leadership....oh and their website usability is laughably bad too! Does make me question the value for money I get for annual £2400 council tax donation...

Terrible provincial like council. Small budget and inept 35 councillors create an unwanted and useless public monster. Their only interest is carparks and creating air and noise pollution. Need to complain about everything to try to make any progress, even then nothing happens. The quality and calibre of staff is always an issue at councils, do W no different. But because they are essentially a Town operating like a city, it gets messy, with the county and city crossing paths on many issues, adding to chaos and poor decision making. Really not sure why I'm paying so much tax as it only means the council ruin my existence through their activities and the personal nuisances they generate like air and noise pollution, congestion and the daily sleep disturbances from their unnecessary, daily cleaning. Will never live in a small town again and deal with such incompetence and maladministration again. Their feedback, complaints processes are also a farce.

I wanted to open a Wine bar in Worcester city centre ( 10 Swithins Street Worcester) and after speaking with the agency who is responsible to rent the shop I needed to ask the plan to the Worcester city Council.I've applied online and I've paid 160.00 pounds. After one day I received an email from Laura Wall about my application:The fee for this is 215.00 pounds.Then I've paid the difference.They was the days 14th and 15th August 2023 and since these dates I didn't receive any email from Mrs Laura Wall.In the meantime the Agency has given the shop to another customer .Thank you very much Agency.After a week I've sent more emails to Mrs Laura Wall but I'm still waiting for an answer. Today is the 1st October.I think I will never receive anything.Oh yes, I'm sorry, Mrs Laura Wall has sent me an email where explains that they are busy and for this reason she couldn't give me some news ,but after her email I didn't receive any email, answer or documentation.Now, I want to thank the Worcester City Council, Mrs Laura Wall who works for the Worcester city Council and the Agency who has given the shop to another customer.Thank you all for the stupid and idiot experience.I hope I don't need to speak with you again, I will be not so gentle like today.Thank you very much again.Fabrizio De Notarpietro

Planning department is full of liars who are protected by a corrupt department.Have now tried to deal with a serious road safety issue and told I need to speak to the housing. When I asked who the association was they said ‘l cannot reveal that info under GDPR’. I asked if they thought GDPR was more important than child safety and her replied ‘YES’……absolutely disgusting……….the faithful city………faithful to who!

Disgusting The council that lets a member of there departments lie to a vulnerable elderly pensioner who is heartbroken and in very poor health.and upset due and worrying all the time because of what she is being put through by that department due to the fact that she was lied too after she was told that she could have free home care then Later to be invoiced for nearly three and a half thousand pound bill which cant be paid because they dont have any savings and there even struggling with normal household bills later to receive a letter threatning if its not paid they will add more interest onto it just proves that they dont care and have no respect to people just so they can lie and force people to pay without being told all the true relevent information that should of been mentioned and saying things are free knowing themselves that it wasnt

Every time I ring the taxi department they never answer the phone , I've rang them 3 times in the last 10 days and each time it's taken me 3-4 hours to get through to them. Why even have such a department when the people working there can't even be bothered to pick up the phone, I think wolverhampton council need to get the contract back from worcestershire council and deal with it themselves

They take repeated transactions from your bank account for a single parking ticket. Over and over again until you have nothing left. What a mess. No action, just holding statements every day apologising. Then taking more money out. Crazy. Do not visit unless you have money to throw away.

I am utterly disgusted by the response from WCC. Having been overcharged by £48 for a £3.60 car park ticket, as yet I have not received an explanation nor reimbursement. It says on their webpage that this parking fault has been dealt with and no more withdrawals would be made. Strange then as my bank account was emptied to the tune of £15.60 yesterday (29th Sept) after the previous day taking £32.40. What a way to treat the general public. I have tried to talk to a human being but they don't seem to exist at County Hall. Lost to know what to do next.
