Editing after returning for food.Only come here for drinks. The food is just okay. Given this place is in coal drops yard, I expected much more.The first time I came here, we just ordered cocktails, and they were great to sit on the terrace and chat. The second time we came here, we sat for food and I was disappointed. The starters were pretty good. We got the meat board and the croquettes. The mains were not what I expected. The lamb shoulder was dry, and the rigatoni was a bit bland.

Nice atmosphere if you just had drinks, limited food choice for dinner! The portion size is quite small for the price!A crab meat on toasted sourdough was £12 for literally 3 bites.Rather slow service, had to flag waiter down to take our order.

I was in London on a quick visit and used the opportunity to catch up with schoolfriends after more than 40 years, the service could not have been friendlier or quicker. The staff are lovely, the wine selection snall but valid and reasonably priced for central London and we had a tapas tyoe mix of cold cuts, cheese, padding oepoers and bread....all fresh and decent size portions.....value for money fir the area.

The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The environment was good however only one bathroom without separating men / women. No baby changing. These are all okay acceptable.One thing I want to complain was the outrageous price. We ordered some drinks and a crab sandwich to share, £15. You would think £15 would get you a full loaded crab sandwich on a piece of bread. But, I was too positive. The crab meat was as little as could barely cover the surface of the bread. I mean, I know everything has gone up the price over the past 2-3 years but things have to make sense. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the dish but I am being honest. Just want to maybe ask the restaurant to review the pricing / make of the dish and make it more reasonably priced.

Great wine and good selection. Ambient amusing and joyful atmosphere, not only the music but also the people there. The food options were OK, didnt try many, just the cheese platter could be more fulfilled. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Only called in briefly for a drink whilst we waited for a table at another place so didn't eat. Even on a brief trip the staff were really accommodating and found us a place to sit. Service was great too.

This place has expanded from being a small indoor place serving vermouth to a much larger outdoor space. Still serves vermouth, has a good selection of sharing boards. I suspect it has changed ownership from its early days. Remains in tune with the philosophy. I hope this remains so.

Situated in the centre of Coal Drops Yard, it would be easy to walk past this place. A good sized outside seating area with indoor cafe-style seating area. It is set up well for food and drink to both sit in and takeaway. Efficient service. A relaxing place to take time out and socialise. Outside heaters if the weather is cold.

The most incredible vermouth offering. Fantastic menu - cocktails, other drinks as well as food. Wonderful service all around. Great staff!
