James did our snagging, performed around 13 months after our completion, and he is a very friendly and trustworthy tradesman. He worked through our house explaining everything as he went along and what should usually be expected of a new build property. Having had the snagging done, we feel more justified in seeking improvements to our new build home and I'm confident that we will more than make our snagging cost back.Would highly recommend to others thinking of having this done too. If anything, I'd suggest doing it early on - we thought leaving it later would be helpful in case anything came to light after a year of use, however James was so thorough that I think he likely would have spotted issues before any such deterioration occurred.Thanks James!

James and Sean are great at what they do - they know what they're talking about and pick up on snags that you just wouldn't have thought of or noticed, but would have caused problems if not caught. I was in two minds as to whether or not a snagging survey would be worth it, as I'd heard of some people who regretted it. Not the case with these guys - definitely worth the money.They're also just all-round nice guys!

Cannot recommend Sean and James at New Home Surveying highly enough. They surveyed our new home in Swindon and were extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable.The report, which was sent within hours of the survey being completed, was very thorough and covered areas that I would of never been able to check myself, even with a background in construction.They use specialist tools such as thermal imaging and drones to ensure all areas are covered.The report includes a spreadsheet tracker, so has saved us a lot of time.They explained defects as they went through our property, and recommended what should be done to resolve them.Most importantly, they were very assuring throughout the process and kept our minds at ease.We were dubious at whether we would need to get professionals in as we thought we could complete the snagging list ourselves, but are very happy we did as the report was way beyond our capabilities.Many thanks to Sean and James.

Arrived on time, thorough survey by two experts in the field, Sean and James were everything we expected and more. They even put the drone up despite it being a blustery day. Recommend without hesitation.

The booking process was very easy. James and Sean arrived on time, both very professional, friendly.A full thorough inspection of the house both external and internal was completed over several hours, making sure nothing was missed.They then created a PDF report with accompanying photos and descriptions of all of the issues and also a useful spreadsheet to keep track with the developer for making good all the items.Most of our issues were fortunately minor items, but a couple of issue found which could cause huge financial cost to repair in the future so it’s well worth the initial investment to get these professionals in to identify issues we had not noticed ourselves.I will be recommending them to all our neighbours and friends.
