Had dinner here while catching up with friends. Seated quickly by a friendly host and had a round of cocktails to start. We enjoyed a three course meal which was a very reasonable price. Steaks and burgers were filling and cooked to perfection. The ribs were tender and tasty, well worth trying! There were plenty of choices for the vegetarian in our party. Deserts were varied and the perfect ending to our meal. 100% recommended and will be back again and again. If you've not been you should try it!

Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. We really enjoyed our visit, had a huge amount to eat and it was great value. Staff are so nice and the place is really well done. The best place that I have eaten in Chelmsford. Will be back again !!

I had the fillet mignon which was cooked to perfection, beautiful food. Wonderful atmosphere, loved the train set. Staff are very friendly and chirpy, was great interacting with them. Table of 12 order was ready within 20 minutes. Only negative would be is it got a little hot in there. Highly recommend.

Not only was out food absolutely emacultate our server had no issues asking any questions and making us comfortable guests. The atmosphere was incredible with fun nostalgic music and old decorations with functional aspects that made it feel like a great dinner.

Really great service never had to ask for a thing. Food is fantastic American grill. Had the ribs they were delicious. Would visit again

All round fantastic restaurant which offers an American style authentic" diner experience. The atmosphere is brilliant - think TGIs but not as loud! I couldn't recommend this gem of Chelmsford anymore!"

Haven't been here for a long time but so glad that it hasn't changed from how I remember it. Had a big bacon burger with coleslaw and a big jacket potato with sour cream. Absolutely scrummy. My son had a club sandwich which looked very appetising. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Good value for money.

This place has AMAZING food and service, staff were very friendly and did a lovely happy birthday for my brother. There are baby changing services in the women's loo but I didn't see a wheelchair accessible toilet, but it is a small place. Definitely recommend

Back-Inn Time
We tried this restaurant for the first time for my dad's birthday. It was absolutely fantastic. The service was quick and very cheerful. The food was fast and so delicious. They even bought out a fairy cake with a candle and sung happy birthday to my 53 year old dad! The atmosphere was wonderful. Would highly recommend and will be going back again!
