Mario and team are one of a kind! The welcoming atmosphere draws you in from the minute you step through the door. I was offered a range of hot/cold drinks and went with a traditional Turkish orange tea -gorgeous. These guys never disappoint, Mario crafted the perfect skin fade and topped it off with an eyebrow trim, nose trim, shave, wax, wash, style and ‘spicy sauce’! Absolutely tremendous service as always. A barber shop Matlock is truly proud of. Big up True Gents.

Great experience at True Gents Barbers. I have been using Mario since he opened, having finally found a barber who I can trust to give me exactly what I ask for. Will never step foot in another barbers. Very welcoming and friendly and a coffee!! Great value for money. Thanks Mario, you are a credit to Matlock and a great barber!!

Mario offers such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We've been to a other barbers in Matlock where my son has been disappointed with his hair cut. But since going to True Gents Barbers, his haircut is always perfect and he leaves with a big smile on his face!Thanks Mario for always delivering. You're super talented and professional and your shape ups are the best!

Was recommended Mario at True gents Barbers and he didn't disappoint. I've been back a few times now as I like his personal service and quality of his work. I've always left happy with my haircut/shave and Mario's attention to detail is great. Would definitely recommend having the true gents special.

Went there today in desperate need of a hair cut and the service I received was remarkable, I have been to plenty of other places in the past where the staff only constantly speak to their colleagues but this place the person cutting my hair not only done a great job he was constantly interacting and able to have a great conversation whilst doing a great job. Would definitely go back again

Mario is a really talented barber, and I could tell immediately away that he is very self-assured and educated about hair. He listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions based on what he observed and what he could do to make my hair look better. It was good to see someone who takes pride in his work and wants to make sure that everything is completed in accordance with the client's expectations.

I visit Matlock Bath a few times a year and always time a haircut with Mario in Matlock as he offers an amazing experience. Very talented hairdresser, best cut I’ve ever had and you’re smiling the whole way through. The place to go.
