The National Swimming Academy
Whilst visiting Scotland a last year, in the past, I went to the Peak but having been told the pool was closed at the time, I was told I could go here. Its a lovely pool, split so the athletes could train whilst people like me, who could only dream of being as good, swam in the public half. The only let down, and I know its probably insignificant; no cafe to get a drink afterwards and relax, while the endorphins flowed through my body.

Kids were here for swimming lessons. Pools exceptionally clean staff were great and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone

Large pool with cool water. Better than the hot pool water most councils have. 50m pool was split into 3 sections for water polo, squad training and general swimmers. Facilities a bit dated but you forget that when you have the peace to do some serious swimming. Parking not great but this is due to the on going improvements to the area.

No free parking and car park, there is only swimming pool and no child pool or suna and jacuzzi. maximum pool depth is 2m which most of times allocated to students or is closed and only 1.2 depth is open. the side with 1.2m depth also divided with three lanes and one open pool, very pathetic.

University of Stirling Sports facilities. Olympic size Swimming Pool, Free Parking on Sunday all day, Plenty of Cycle parking facilities just outside the pool, Built with all modern facilities,>Dedicated disabled parking,>Separate Toilet facilities for disabled people,>The building is divided into 2 floors (Ground floor and floor below),✓Both floor accessible by lifts and Stairs,✓Plenty of drinking water facilities, ✓Couple of Snacks Vending Machines, ✓Plenty of sitting arrangements for all, ✓Large cafe on the ground floor with sitting arrangements, this building have world class GYM facilities, membership required to gain entry.

I'm sure the work they do is important but I only visited the cafe and it was OK.
