Everlast Gyms - Gloucester

The variety of classes are good, but the Jacuzzis are no longer working and the steam room is currently broken.Since my last update F+F is only 2 per month, and children can no longer use these to swim (which was one of the perks" I was persuaded with to rejoin) instead you have to pay for them to come and swim or take out a junior swim membership for an additional £15 a month.I've also had some issues with the Everlast booking system which has made it hard to book classes.The team are lovely

I waited 40 minutes at the front desk on Saturday waiting for a member of staff to help me find out why my access code wouldn’t allow me in. I ended up leaving the gym as the customer service was so poor as there were no members of staff.

Tried this gym out with a day pass early on a Saturday, wasn't overly busy by 9am.Equipment was in decent condition, more options over typical gyms like puregym etc. It's essentially one large workout area with classes elsewhere.A little old school as membership options are contract based and the one off rolling month fee is expensive at £40. 12months contract is £30p/m which is decent when you get a pool chucked in too.Aircon currently broken at time of review so was pretty toasty, you're there to sweat though so no biggy.0 issues on my one-off visit, would happily use again.3hr time limit on parking which is plenty.

Great gym with a good set of equipment, shame about the hot tubs being broken (no notice when they will be fixed) good showers and changing room. Would prefer a few more boxing bags as it only has a heavy and small one.Great staff members who are really friendly.Pool is nice with three lanes with a steam room which is a great addition.

by far the worst gym I've ever been to. got to be the worst in Gloucester too.No aircon for about 3/4 years constantly 40+degrees inside. Unbearable if you want to have a good session. Soaked with sweat by the time you've warmed up.Wont listen to any complaints. At one point they went a year without a water fountain!!!Id plead with anyone to avoid.

Been a member for 15 months now and in that time the jacuzzi’s have work for a week, if that. Also the Gym closes at 6pm on weekends?! 6pm!!! Sort it out, I get that nearly every single staff member is under 30 so probably wants to go out after work, but 6pm is taking the p……

This gym makes me very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Many many have said the same to me when I bring up the matter.I’m afraid to say, the atmosphere is not very nice, the team are not welcoming at all and very judgmental, they allow certain members who are mates with them to walk around shirtless, and taking pictures - SOME STAFF EVEN do this themselves (can easily find on their socials) which I find very unprofessional and definitely off puttingThe the gym itself is dark and too hot, the AC is always “broken”, the gym is very old fashion and in need of a massive revamp, no natural light or windows, just dated compared to other gyms - but with a actual working AC that would improve things alone.

I have been an on and off member at this gym since 2014, and I can see just how far this gym has fallen from grace in the past decade alone. When I first started training here, it was just under 40 quid and the kit in my opinion was far superior to what is on offer now at the same facility so it needs a massive revamp with actual ac working for example, plus much more actual free weights available. Since it's now become an everlast gym, it's full of equipment hoggers, Rubbish music blasting all the time, lack of equipment in general and is now outclassed by even budget gyms such as pure gym and the gym group. But as many people have already said on here, the worst offending part about this gym is the so called spa area as this is an absolute joke of an area now. They charge you for the upkeep of the swimming pool, the steam room and the jecuzzi and they are always down or have a technical error as the receptionist put it to me. I also know members that can never get in the swimming because as there is always a class on, so that's not great either. Do yourself a favour and go literally anywhere else other than this gym as the company seems to care so little for their members who pay their hard earned money to use shoddy facilities.

I used the pool for paddle duck swimming lessons with my daughter. Now the classes themselves are brilliant. But sharing changing rooms with gym users can be a bit off-putting sometimes. One shared family room between the two changing rooms isn't enough.

Budget gym needs alot of improvement the spa pools have been broken for a long time with no sign of repair showers on gent changing are need to be fix and upgraded many lockets are desperately in need of repair. And no tea and coffee to drink purchase after work out. Class are very good.
