My first time to Plates for our network Plymouth Christmas lunch. I didn't realise it was in my favourite pub whilst I was in University (Cuba) very nostalgic.I love what they have been able to do in the space, the food and service was absolutely incredible.

Excellent and unique experience.My friend booked this place, I had not heard of it. With absolutely no expectations I was really impressed.Rather than committing too a large meal meal you order multiple small plates from the menu.Huge compliments to the chef because all of the food that was delivered to me was 10/10.Strongly recommended.

What an experience,don't just look at the menu experience the menu. My wife and I had a tasting menu (the plate) and can't find anything to complain about. The food was well presented, we were told what it was and how it was put together, all the combinations worked perfectly. Wash down with excellent wine and 2 cocktails. The hostess, chef & staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Will definitely be returning.

Food was excellent, very nicely cooked and presented and a good size. Variety of dishes was good also. Cocktails were nice also! Would be 5* but the music was too loud in the back and the storage/rubbish room was open with a lady in and out with nothing all the time - just took the edge off the atmosphere.

Fantastic venue, brilliant food and staff. Reasonable prices and offers available, only downside was it was quite loud with the open plan kitchen, but we were quite a loud group too!

Amazing place ! Loved the atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. Food sooooo good! So many different flavours and really tasty . Deffo recommend this place. Toilets were cool aswell

Booked at Plates this evening and we picked 5 plates to share. WOW. all the food blew us away from the look to the taste with some amazing sauces. Great service and really kind workers. Can’t wait to come back for some more!! Recommend the pork tacos 100%
