Well what can I say! After waking up feeling like I was on the way to the dentist, boy was I nervous! I was greeted with a big hug from Jane who took time to talk the day through with me. I then met Kay who did an amazing job of my hair and make up, really putting me at ease giving me some great hits and tips around make up now I’m older. Definitely things I will try from now on. Then there was Sam. Amazing!! From being completely out of my comfort zone to fully embracing my curves. Sam you did an awesome job! Thank you all for a truly fantastic day. One I won’t forget. If anyone needs a confidence boost or a fresh start in life this really is the best place to go. Thank you again for making me feel so special xxx

Where to even begin!I am one of the least confident people you could imagine but looking at my photos you would never believe that,From the second you walk through their door you are welcome, Jane, Sammy, and Kay are each as incredibly amazing as the other,I feel although I have know Jane all of my life.Kay make me looks gorgeous and she has so much knowledge about everything she does.Sammy is a fantastical photographer!!During my shoot I was sometimes a little unsure but guided perfect though by Sammy with the tricky bits being helped with by Kay,I felt like I wanted to show off.Looking at my photos at the end I cried, I cried because that was me up there on the screen, every inch lump and bump and it looked beautiful (I'm always the one who hides from the camera on days out) if there is any one reading this review debating weather or not its for you let me just say.... do it !!

If you are thinking about booking a boudoir shoot but are holding back due to anxieties with body confidence, PLEASE BOOK IT AND WORRY LATER. You’ll soon realise that there is nothing to worry about as Jane makes you feel wonderful from the moment you speak to her. Jane was really supportive and made me feel like I was her one and only client. She gave me the power to choose my outfits but guided me on what would look best. I had a story to tell with my shoot and no idea was too much trouble. The shoot itself was exhilarating - I started off shy and self conscious but with the help of Sam and Kay I ended up super confident and this shows in my photos. Kay did a lovely job with my make up and she ensured I kept my 'natural beauty' unlike other make up artists who make you look like a doll. I was really worried I would hate myself even more after seeing the photos but I was shocked - I looked pretty incredible and for the first time in a long time I saw the version of me that my partner sees when he looks at me which was rather moving. I liked so many of the photos it was almost impossible to narrow them down. If you need a confidence boost and you want to feel sexy without feeling sexualised, this is the shoot to book. Trust me, you will not regret it. Thank you Jane, Kay and Sam for reminding me why I should love myself :) x

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at my Only Boudoir Shoot. From the moment you step through the door, Jane and Sammy put you right at ease and are more than lovely. They gave wonderful advice and guidance throughout the shoot and really build your confidence in the poses they suggest. When it came to selecting the images I was so spoilt for choice - they were all brilliant! And for someone who’s never done a shoot before, I didn’t think I’d have so many options. I'm still as excited about my whole experience with Jane, Sammy and Kay as i was when i left following my Just Boudoir session. To say that i was feeling overwhelmed with trepidation before i arrived would be an understatement. But Jane took me through the whole process after a very welcome hug and kept me calm throughout the day. Her attitude was perfect and made me feel calm and comfortable. Kay was a superstar. Having my makeup done left me feeling beautiful and ready for the camera. More than that, her calm reassurance that i was in the right position was invaluable. Sammy made the whole experience really easy. By the time i had followed instructions he had taken 10 photos and i didnt even realise! The whole day left me feeling energised, confident, empowered and gorgeous. Not what i was expecting and more than that, i still feel that way weeks later and would do it all over again! I cant thank all of you enough for holding my hand through what i thought was going to be a difficult experience and guiding me into enlightenment. A must do for anyone. Wow, what a special day spent with Only BoudiorIt was 2 years ago since I had my first boudoir shoot and I felt it was time to do another oneSo much has changed in the last 2 years, my body included, I decided that I am not going to hide behind my scars, my extra pounds and my stretch marks, my body has kept me going over the past 2 years and it’s been to hell and back.Jane, Sam and Kay are the perfect team to make your boudoir photos come to life, Kay made me look beautiful with hair and makeup, and was there through my whole shoot helping with positions, and props, Jane was on hand to help with changing outfits and getting the pictures ready to view she really is amazing. Sam has so much creativity he takes your photo ideas and brings them to life.In a world where we are told we have to look a certain way, be a certain size etc, I made the choice to break that stigma, I do not have to fit into the media or societies thought of perfect and no one else should have to either.I am enough, and I am unapologetically me!

Wow! Such an amazing experience! Jane, Sam and Kay are brilliant, friendly, funny and made me feel so comfortable. I really enjoyed the photo shoot and seeing all the photos afterwards. My husband very kindly gifted me a full makeover and boudoir photoshoot with Sammy Southall Photography, as I've never really had a positive view of my body - particularly since undergoing major surgery and chemotherapy in the last year, which has left me with a fairly large scar and thrown me into surgical menopause in my 30s. I was pretty apprehensive; what if I took this huge step out of my comfort zone only to not like what I saw afterwards?I needn't have worried. Jane was an absolute angel from the very moment I called up to book myself in, providing a warm, encouraging and friendly voice on the end of the phone, checking in regularly in the lead-up to the day so that by the time I arrived for my shoot she already felt like a friend and welcomed us with a big hug.The makeover with Kay was fantastic; her knowledge and experience in stunning, natural makeup is very clear to see! She was also brilliant during the shoot, always on hand to make sure I was looking my best in front of the camera.Last but not least, Sam's camera and lighting skills are second to none, and his directions for getting the best expressions, angles and poses are really clear. He made me feel really comfortable in front of the lens, and it only took a few minutes before I felt a transition from feeling shy and awkward to feeling confident and empowered!My photos were all ready to see within about 20 minutes, presented in a beautiful slideshow to music. I was absolutely blown away by what I saw, and have chosen 25 of the best (which was SO HARD!) to be made into a Little Black Book - I can hardly wait to receive it!However you see yourself and your body, I would highly recommend Sammy Southall Photography to anyone; you'll walk away feeling like an absolute rockstar.
