Cydney Phipps thank you, you was just brilliant patients of a saint as I just wasn't sure of how or what I wanted but she walked me through of all the complications of fitting a kitchen space saving etc... and got it to work for me great I cannot fault Cydney and all the team at Howdens Clacton from ordering to delivery just great staff no fuss just great confidence in their products and what they do they know there stuff I would highly recommend Howdens at Clacton.

If you're looking for a slick showroom then you won't find it but what is on display is sufficient to make a good choice especially if you've already had someone come to your home measure up & design. Excellent service & even better prices.

Kitchen was fit to an ok standard (was supposed to take a month, took over two-we had no drinking water for 2-3weeks) however an upstand was fit directly behind the hob with is against all regulations and even the hob installation instructions say do not do this within 6cm or wall/upstand. Lo and behold the first time I used the back hob the upstand caught fire. This was before the kitchen was even completed and other snags fixed. I text Dave Gibson and he said I was right and he would fix it. It’s been a year. He is ignoring all forms of communication. So I’ve been left with a kitchen that I cannot used the back two hobs in unless I want to burn down my house. As well as all the other snags left unfixed. For example, I have cabinet doors that do not close, a large scratch in the counter top, Holes in the wall, incomplete plastering, jagged pieces of wood ‘built’ around pipes, unsafe sockets falling of the wall amongst crumbling plaster the list goes on. Do not hire this man if you want a complete kitchen fit. Do hire him if you would like to be ignored when he makes a mistake, and if you do get everything in writing. For example I picked my tiles and grout, he used the wrong grout and said it was what I picked. Luckily I had screenshot every text between us so I could send it back to him. Really unfortunate as we paid a over £10,000 for him to install the dream Howdens kitchen and this is what we have been left with.

Really pleased with kitchen design and price. Also bought luxury vinyl tiling for kitchen floor after it was recommended to me by the Howdens approved fitter. 16 months on and 3 of the tiles have cracked/chipped. They are guaranteed for 25 years. I emailed Howdens, no reply. I phoned 10 days later and was told a manager would ring back. I've rang again today, a week later, and was told a manager would definately ring back when his meeting finished. He has not. This is very poor after sales. I am not happy hence the 3 stars. After all its only 3 tiles, I paid £1310 for tiles and laying.
