Some say this is the river Tib, all we know is, it might be the river Tib.

This is NOT the River Tib, which is in a different part of the city (research the names Tib Street and Tib Lane). The photos are probably of the River Irk, which joins the Irwell from the East, just to the North of the Chetham’s building.

These might be photos of the River Tib, but the location is currently incorrectly shown.
