Down To Earth

Everyone is Always friendly and knowledgeable.Plants are great valued for money. My Mam bought this hanging basket at the end of May feeds it regularly and this is what it looks like today!!! Beautiful Xxx

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Top quality plants, I have used this small centre for seven years now. I cannot fault it on any level. Great plants reasonably priced, and a good selection. Bedding plants are at give away prices, and nothing is over priced IMO.

Came into down to earth on Tuesday 12th to buy a house plant for a friend as a gift. The plant that I chose was was labeled reduced price and there was a load of the same kind of plants in the same place on the table next to the same reduced price. When I went to the till it came up on the till at full price and when I questioned why it's not came up at reduced price I was spoken by a rude man who ended up been so aggressive seeking to me and when I told him that I would leave it and go else where he turned around and said hear I will charge you at the wrong reduced price it's another lost and it's a shame but the fact is they had a load of the same plants on the table top under the same reduced price. I wouldn't recommend down to earth at all as this man was the manager who badly spoke to me and he needs to learn to grow up and have some lessons to improvehis manners and customer service skills. Please everyone what ever you do stay away from this joke of a garden centre

Great little garden centre . Limited parking but locals know to wait a short while for a space. Good prices and items you don't see at other garden centres.

First visit here, would definitely return. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff who were very helpful. Clearly happy in their work. The plants are of very good quality for the prices. Well equipped with lots of other garden essentials and useful items. A atagg member commented that some people had said that they disliked the lack of a coffee shop, well in my opinion good! This is a garden centre for gardeners, not the usual pretentious place selling overpriced rubbish. Long may it continue being for people with a passion for all things plants.

Great garden centre with the usual wide range of items. This goes easy on gifts and is more traditional than some. You can normally get what you want here.
