Prestatyn Gates

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this company at all costs. Summer house was finally built last September after continously cancelling from July. It has sat there since unused as they have repeatedly cancelled coming to complete remedial work. This building was supposed to be used as a sensory garden room for my disabled daughter and yet she hasn't had even an hours use. They say you pay for what you get well for what we have paid I could have gone to B&Q and it would have turned out better and be in use right now.

Excellent family friendly company , I've had a bespoke shed and summerhouse built to my exact request with very competitive prices. Very busy company but was given time scale of when work was likely to commence and well worth the wait . You can buy cheaper sheds but nowhere near this quality and workmanship. Definitely use again .

Had a gate put in last week by Prestayn Gate. It looks fantastic, better than I imagined. The two men that came were prompt, careful and very competent. I was really impressed at how much care they took over their work. They took time to make sure everything was perfect and took real care of my property at the same time. My neighbour was getting some glazing done and the workers were blaring out music and shouting to each other and people on the street. The Prestayn Gate men were so quiethard working and considerate bycomparison. I won't hesitate to recommend Prestatyn Gate to anyone.

Overall the gates are great and the team was great, however we did have an incident but it was quickly resolved.The guys came out on Wednesday to fit the gates and after they were fit the chap showed me that everything was fine and all was good, however on the Friday afternoon when I went to use them for the first time I unlocked the top lock, took out the bottom drop lock and opened the latch to open the gate and the entire gate just sheared off the posts and fell on me, they are bloody heavy and I had to call my wife out to help me lift them back up. We leaned it against the wall and we noticed I had a massive cut all up my arm and was bleeding quite badly, I had my neighbour who is a nurse take a look to see if it needed a hospital visit and she said it would be fine just keep it clean.We looked at the gates to see what happened and all of the screws holding the hinges in place had sheared off completely which caused the gate to fall, thankfully I am a well built 6'4 man so it didnt do too.much damaged (par the cut) but if it had fallen on one of my young children it could've potentially caused serious injury or even been fatal.I have taken many pictures of the gates, the sheared screws, the hinges when they fell off and of my arm with the blood, which I sent to Prestatyn Gates as proof I wasn't lying.However after contacting Prestatyn gates they sent out the same guys the following Monday who re-fit the gates with nut and bolts rather than screws and refunded me £50 as an apology.Gates are still standing now but I do have a certain dis-trust to them and will NOT let my kids or wife anywhere near them just in case.All is fine now, minus the big bandage covering my left arm.

Good gate, good price, good service

Excellent service, we ordered fenching and two gates, everything was supplied and installed as promised, however, we didn't order the correct colour for our fence posts, when I let them know they where more than happy to come out and paint the posts, couldn't recommend enough.

Purchased a shed/workshop. Very pleased with it. Quality materials, qulaity professional workmanship/joinery and delivered and erected on time, in fact it was delivered early. Howard and Debbie are lovely people to deal with. My daughter is interested in a summer house and she won't be looking anywhere else! Thank you both.

A family run business its heart very much in the right place. Anything asked answered professionally and with utmost courtesy. They were flexible when we amended our first order and still stuck to the first delivery date we were given. Product sturdy and well installed, as advertised. Staff were brilliant too on the day. After care superb since as well. I don't hesitate in recommending them. If only all trades people behaved as they do, we'd all be alot better off!

Fantastic service. We ordered some gates, summer house/shed and a long planter. All built very well. The shed and gates came ready painted. Everything was installed in one day (I'd already prepped the ground for the shed area).Would definitely recommend.
