Haltwhistle Caravans and Leisure

Well this is a necessary review. We initially found mark and his business when we 1st bought our caravan around may.We wanted it serviced etc as it was our 1st caravan. Mark came across as a veey helpful pleasant manWe asked him to do the work. Various issues extras were added. Initially we understood things took time....4 / weeks later...missed booked holidays of which we informed mark, jobs left until the last minute, jobs poorly done and now were owed over a £1000In returned goods. We have Contacted mark who is the owner of Haltwhistle caravan repairs via text, email and phone calls with no reply...now the only option is legal..i just want my money back mark...

I would like to say a massive thank you to Haltwhistle caravan and leisure for sorting and servicing my caravan.A number of issues were found and they kept me informed of works, time scales and photos of issues found. I am very grateful and have already passed contact details to a friend for future use. Thank you so much.

If you value your sanity do not use this repair business for caravans and the like. We have had 4 months of endless unanswered phone calls, emails, messages. Even had to make a 260 mile round trip just for an update, twice!!At the off Mark is a very polite, pleasant and knowledgeable guy, as are the lads, but don't be misguided because he completely disregards the need for communication.And to add insult to injury the work is not perfect and it cost us over £3000 and he told us that people like us are putting people like him out of business.Fuming

We where booked at the caravan site close by and our hook up cable was too short we needed another, we found this place and the last cable they had in stock just sold the nearest place to get one was Newcastle but not till next day the guys offered us their cable for the night , amazingly trustworthy of them and we were very greatful thank you so much guys you are amazing

Fridge repaired then only a few days later ehu cable repaired while on holiday in area, repaired at very short notice. Excellent customer service, very reasonable price. A big thank you I'd have been really stuck.A fab well stocked shop too.

Helped me out with an issue at short notice, with no problems, they couldn’t have been more helpful!

Needed a new leisure battery. Friendly and efficient service. For a small place it was comprehensively stocked. Got what I needed at a reasonable price.
