Katie Cox Dance Studio
My daughter joined Katie's dance studio nearly 3 years ago and really loves it. There is a good mix of fun, discipline and movement with Katie remaining very hands on with the youngest; whilst also bringing in other excellent teachers. The biannual show was a great success - hopefully we can do it in Nov 2021 - and shows the drive, professionalism and care that Katie brings.

KCDS is a wonderful dance school. The teachers are great, there are lots of different exciting dance options and Katie works hard to create a really caring community. My daughter loves it and has made great progress.

My daughter absolutely loves the classes at KCDS. The teachers are amazing and so friendly and professional. Even during the lockdown classes kept going via Zoom, so gave some ‘normality’ to the day. The progress my daughter has made is brilliant, and she really enjoys every lesson and has made some great friends.

I highly recommend Katie and her dance school. I have been attending with my toddler over the last year. We both love the classes. Katie puts so much thought and effort into each class. There is never a class the same, and there are often themed songs relating to the time of year or festive period. It has been great to meet other families too. My daughter has benefitted from the classes. We both get to stretch, dance, play and sing together. A really positive experience from a local personable business. Thanks Katie and team.

I can highly recommend, as my daughter has been dancing with KCDS for 10 years. The teachers are very likeable and professional, which has helped with confidence building, both within the dance school and externally. The range of classes is fantastic, offering something for everyone. There’s the opportunity to take part in a bi-annual show, which everybody enjoys. It’s a great opportunity to show parents and friends everything you’ve been learning.

When you look for a Dance Studio for your son or daughter you want somewhere that really cares about the children they teach. KCDS has a group of highly experienced teachers that are really passionate about dance and wish to pass on their love of the arts to their pupils.The school is well managed and professional.My girls have attended for over 10years now and they are still excited to see their friends each week and dance together with their dance family.I really recommend KCDS if you are looking for a school where your child will be encouraged to be the very best version of themselves.

My daughter has been going to ballet and tap classes. KCDS is an excellent dance school, the teachers are engaging and make dance enjoyable as well as provide discipline to the girls. KCDS has managed to continue to help the children learn dance through 2020 which has been very challenging through the pandemic via zoom calls and also provided additional zoom calls to keep the children engaged. I would highly recommend this dance school for anyone looking to introduce kids to ballet or tap.

KCDS is a warm, welcoming and high quality dance school which caters for pretty much ever dance style your child could want. My daughters have been with the school for over 5 years and have grown in confidence and accessed so many exciting new experiences. They have a lot of excellent exam results but more importantly they’ve had a lot of fun!

We love Katie Cox Dance Studio. Katie runs a fabulous dance school with so many opportunities to learn all types of dance disciplines at all levels. Through both lockdowns the zoom classes and support given has been amazing. Katie and her team of brilliant teachers are so professional but nurturing and supportive too. My daughter has been learning mini performers, dance combo, which incorporates tap modern and ballet and Acro too she loves all her classes and teachers. So much time and effort goes in to engaging the pupils and supporting their individual goals. I highly recommend this dance school.
