Awful experience today Monday the 14th of August .. our bus broke down before it left park and ride in Cheltenham and both our drivers were standoffish and lacked any manners!! One in particular who decided too have an argument with a guy about not having dogs on buses... one driver let dog the on the bus other didn't... so what are your rules?? He even threatened the customer with the police it was uwful and unnecessary. Never again

Having been to London to see Marillion perform at Eventim Apollo on Friday night as a 60th Birthday treat from our Daughter, We had a traumatic escape from Victoria coach station due to a combination of Rail strikes, Anti-Government demonstrations & road closures & diversions in place for today's London Marathon.National Express doubled up on services in anticipation of the chaos.James, Our Bennett's Coaches Driver, navigated the chaos skilfully & carefully & maintained a cheery professional manner. Our 444 service diverted along A40, Giving us a nice scenic ride back to Cheltenham through the Cotswolds.Despite taking nearly 2 hours to get out of London, we were back in Cheltenham only 10 - 15 Minutes late (Only to be let down by Stagecoach Cheltenham as 2 D & E services in a row didn't run).Thank you James's & thank you Bennett's.

Really disappointed to be turned away today to be told no dogs allowed. There were no signes to Inform us when we parked or getting a ticket.

Not great as a school bus unlike Marchants and other school buses in Gloucestershire. The whole DRHS closes early at 1pm this 10th October but Bennetts school buses won’t pick up children at 1pm. Children have to stay at school for another 3 hours after school closes if they want to come home by school bus…This is not the first time. Merchants and KB school buses do pick up children early in similar situations.Update: see reply from school below. No explanation to parents why they can’t pick up children early like other school buses in Gloucestershire.

Our lovely driver Chey, Phil and Paul popped his head in the coach to say hello what a lovely bunch of people friendly chatty and always up for a giggle

Iwent on them there is not enough leg room. Squashed as coach had every seat taken. I was supposed to go in National express but they had pout us on Bennett's as overbooking

Used their school bus services for my son, new bus stop was unsafe for children to cross the road, the owner of the coach didn't accommodate our request to change the bus stop to safer bus stop which would have taken 2-3 mins extra. Alarming that this company which operates school buses doesn't take the safety of children into consideration.Further updates replying to thier comments to give views from our side.The bus stop given to us didn't match name the name of the bus stop itself. We had checked multiple times going back to December to confirm the bus stop. We had requested Twigworth Green not the bus stop elsewhere in Twigworth (not at Twigworth after Lodge) . We were repeatedly assured of a new pick up/ drop off point at Twigworth Green.When we reported safety concerns multiple times, we were given an option to change our bus stop, but unfortunately, it wasn't to the safer bus stops (one on the same side of the road which has no crossing and other miles away). We were pushed to cancel our bus services by this company as with no other alternatives with near an incident on the crossing and our multiple plee turned down to change it to safer bus stop which would have added 2-3 mins to the journey. You would expect a company transporting 800 school students with safety first approach but we can only speak with our experience it was far from it. We parents cannot compromise on the safety of our kids. Such an inconvenience to us as working parents when we are having to re arrange transports . We didn't cancel the bus service because we had other choices but because we were left with none. We hope this review will be helpful to parents who are looking for safer school bus transports

We took a trip to London from Cheltenham on 25th November 2023 by National Express. The National Express coach was full at Cheltenham so a relief bus was provided by Bennetts Coaches.We sat directly behind the driver, a large man with a large personality who welcomed everyone on board with an excellent narrative on the microphone, interspersed with light hearted words about how the facilities onboard should and should not be used.It's clear this man has years of experience and possesses a natural PR spirit of making everyone feel at ease.We hope he is recognised for his positive attributes and attitude dealing with Joe Public who often do not show appreciation for customer service at its best.Today I came across the same driver while driving my car in Cheltenham coming slowly in the opposite direction giving way with his coach. He immediately recognised me and I him so we managed a few words and banter about the state of play. He even mentioned a lorry fire nearby and to avoid the area.Topclass man and rare in todays rat race.

Needed to post this. Have just followed 3 Bennett’s coaches along the A417, not one of the drivers had any regard for other road users, one of the buses swapped lanes without indicating and 2 of them indicated and moved lanes causing cars to brake heavily. And then to the roundabout at the bottom of theA40 into Cheltenham. One of the coaches stayed in the correct lane but none slowed down below 90mph…. Disgraceful. They will cause a huge accident one day.And I know the buses were going the same way because I followed them!And I don't mind being stuck behind a bigger vehicle, Its WAY safer than being alongside them.For reference the legal speed limit of a coach is 60mph, they should not be moving faster than me on a dual carriage way, especially a busy one.
