Just brought our Daughters wedding dress back from Danes. And they have done wonderful job on the dress which as could imagine got pretty dirty at the bottom but it is now spotless and big thank you to the staff at your Clacton branch who was very helpful when we brought the dress in.

I went in to take a 2 piece suit in for dry cleaning.I had checked to see if there were any offers on their website beforehand and there were none suitable (just the curtains/refer a friend etc)I was told it would be £20. I asked if I had 2 x 2 piece suits would it be the £18.99 advertised on the boards outside - to be told yes it would be.I was informed the suit would be ready Thursday (6 days) - I said i needed it for a funeral on Wednesday.The lady looked at the bundles of items waiting to be collected and said it could be ready on Tuesday but it will be an extra £5.So if I had met the unadvertised offer and waited for 6 days it would have been £9.50 - but I would have no choice but to pay £25!Sorry Danes - your dry cleaning has always been good but unfortunately you have lost one loyal and very annoyed customer.

Took my wedding dress to be dry cleaned, even though I did this 6 weeks after getting married I was told the stains may be harder to remove as I read the same online so I wasn’t expected it to be perfect. I collected yesterday and wow! It looks brand new! They did such an amazing job, I would defiantly recommend if you need a wedding dress dry cleaned. Really friendly service and dress was ready within a week.

At a charge of £65.78, Danes cleaned a much loved 45 year old suede jacket for me and it was returned in perfect condition, looking like new. I am very pleased with the result, even though, in the first instant, it seemed costly to pay such a large amount of money. I was asked to pay a deposit at the time I left the jacket in the shop and when I collected it and paid the balance, the price seemed easier to bear.As it was a specialist clean, I was told it could take up to a month for the cleaning to be done, but I received a telephone call from a member of staff saying the jacket was ready for collection well within the expected time frame. I would recommend this business to all new customers.
