Portland Works Studio

I can't recommend this studio enough! Carl was so helpful and made sure we were comfortable with everything before he left us to get on with it. Great for students like myself who aren't quite sure how everything works and a really beautiful studio space. I will definitely be returning for future shoots!

I keep coming back to shoot at Portland Works Studio time and time again! The space is really well equipped and Carl is so accommodating and so helpful. There is a wide choice of backdrops and plenty of modifiers to suit any set-up. There are heaters to keep any chilly models warm too! I cant recommend the studio enough, and will be looking forward to shooting here over this next year. :)

We recently used the studio to film product videos. It's a great, large space, but more importantly Carl who rents it out is so helpful, friendly and can't do enough for you whilst also able to give great advice. Certain lighting, props etc are included in the package but the extra equipment such as extra lighting, microphones etc are high quality and come at a very reasonable hire rate.We would highly recommend the Portland Works Studio for all your photography / video requirements, you won't be disappointed.

Can’t recommend Carl at the Portland Works Studio enough. I’ve been using the studio for a number of years now and Carl still helps me out every time I go down with some new tips and tricks for improving the lighting or tweaking the set up to improve the final photo/video. I didn’t really know anything about product photography or lighting when I first began shooting there but Carl’s super friendly and knowledgeable about all things studio related and always has the time to help you get things dialled in. There’s a whole host of equipment for every lighting set up, loads of different background choices to suit every need. Top service, highly recommended, get yourself booked in.

Amazing studio!!!!! Carl couldn't be more helpful. Equipment is great and amazing range in backdrop colours. Great location with accessible entrance. Option of natural light really good!! It is my new regular studio!! :)

Portland works studio is a brilliant space for us to work in, Carl is super helpful and very attentive! The studio is fully equipped and perfect for us to create our ecom and social media content. We've used the studio now around 4/5 times and will be coming back. Thanks Carl!
