Kumon Maths & English

Kumon is a great place if you are willing to improve and help the future of your child(ren). My 3 daughter's attend Kumon. My 2 daughter's have been attending for 3 years and my other daughter has recently started. I have noticed my children's confidence and easy maths skills boost since then. Kelly is an excellent and supportive Kumon teacher. She checks up through the week to see if my daughters are stuck she kindly finds time to help them.I would definitely highly recommend Kumon to help build up the future of your children.

At Kumon Whitley bay Centre, my both children were always happy and continuously improved in their English and Maths skills.My elder son (year 6) achieved excellent grades at Kumon and together with other reasoning skills made him selected for one of the best Grammar schools for Year 7. This has reduced much pressure on me as a parent and we are glad to see him more confident and independent.My younger son started recently and I am glad to see his progress and dedication towards his work. The regular homework and occasional tests has inculcated discipline and dedication towards their studies at their young age.The Centre’s facilitator Kelly Skinner and her team’s personalised care, attention and interest has always motivated my children to achieve higher than expected. Kelly evaluates the abilities of every child, check progress and provide appropriate workloads. Kelly constantly gets feedback from parents and adjust the workloads accordingly to improve the child's performance. Kelly has always been friendly, easily approachable and professional.I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Kelly and her wonderful team at Kumon Whitleybay for providing support and developing the skills for my children.

My daughter had attended Kumon for the past 3 years. She studies maths and has made steady progress during this time, especially during the past year (year 5) which has been her first year at middle school. She has moved up two sets and her school report in July, highlighted the progress that she has made. Kelly is fantastic! She always texts mid week to ask how things are going and is vet supportive. I would highly recommend the Kumon study program.

Kumon has delivered exactly what we hoped for and more. Our daughter has been doing Kumon now for a little over a year. At the beginning she disliked maths and found it difficult; she didn't know her TimesTables by heart and couldn't calculate small numbers quickly enough to keep up with the pace at school. Now she is so confident and has overtaken me with the speed of her calculations! The school has also been impressed with her new found confidence, speed and accuracy and have moved her up two sets. Her tutor, Kelly, has been amazing! She is so encouraging and supportive with our daughter and very friendly and approachable too. We would most definitely recommend Kumon.

Kelly has made a huge difference to the way we view maths . It's independent learning with help and guidance when needed. Two visits per week to class our daughters work sheet times have literally halved which is brilliant . Kelly is so passionate about making the children the best they can be . There is no pressure but Kelly will make sure they are improving . It can be quite tricky getting children to accept change but a Kumon its easy .We can't praise Kelly enough she is such a great person we couldn't have asked for anyone better.

We are so grateful to Kumon and to Kelly for the confidence it has given to our children. The feedback we receive regularly from Kelly enables us to work together to help our children progress in attainment and confidence in Maths. Kelly is fantastic and is very supportive and she really encourages our children to work to their full potential. We would definitely recommend Kumon!

Kumon has made our son an independent learner and boost his confidence. In a year time his focus and problem solving skill has improved. I would like to thank Kelly for managing the center exceptionally well. She motivates, gives feedback, keeps in touch with parents and manages work-load of kids very well. Her encouraging words have made all the difference. Our son passed the Royal Grammar School test and I am confident that Kumon helped. I would highly recommend Kumon especially the whitley bay center.

Absolutely love Kumon it’s made a huge difference to our son. He studies both English and Maths and since starting kumon we’ve noticed a huge improvement in his school work and concentration. Kelly is amazing!!! She’s so supportive and really encourages our son. I feel she really knows him and his little ways and can get him to work to the best of his abilities. My 8 year old daughter has been going to Whitley Bay for maths tuition with Kelly for over a year now. It has helped to build her confidence with maths in general. I’d highly recommend the centre to any parent who feels that there child could do with a boost in this subject
