Cute place with friendly staff. Unfortunately they weren’t serving breakfast, only coffee and pastries. Which seemed really odd and disappointing for a cafe on a Sunday? We didn’t stay

Very disappointed. Cycled there as recommended by some colleagues, arrived at 11.45. Only had scones and sausage rolls available or 20 minutes for something cooked. Decided on a scone and sausage roll. After a few minutes the waitress said I couldn't have the scone because it was too old, and the warmed up sausage roll was cold on the bottom. The pot of tea we ordered had to go back as it was way too strong. We won't be rushing back.

We stopped at the Grumpy Goat on the way to Bury for breakfast and were not disappointed. The pavilion is great and the food was exactly what we needed. The staff were all really friendly and we'd recommend this place to everyone.

Its a nice place, good but slightly expensive coffee, good but very expensive breakfast for what you get.Friendly staff but service was extremely slow, it took well over an hour to get food and it was very quiet so they don't have that excuse.I will give it another go but won't be rushing back, probably just for coffee and cake next time.

On arrival it was a little noisy despite not being busy so we sat outside. The service was good but sadly the breakfast was underwhelming, a little bland and fairly tasteless.I had a latte and a glass of OJ with a scrambled egg and mushroom on toast.I checked before I ordered if the juice was fresh and not from concentrate and was assured it was definitely fresh, sadly it was not and was watery even before the ice melted. The egg was tasteless but the mushrooms tasty, a little seasoning would have helped. I did add salt but only white pepper on the table, ground black pepper would be nicer. My friend had the avocado on toast with salmon, she said that the avocado needed to be smashed and seasoned and maybe some lemon added. The Salmon was weird almost cooked which is unusual for smoked salmon. The service was good and the outside tables are great.Probably will not return.

Popped over to catch up with an old friend I hadn’t seen for 5 years. Brilliant venue. Beautiful location on a late summers evening. Recommend popping in

First time I've been, a big group of people with diverse orders which went absolutely without a hitch. Great service, cheerful staff, good prices lovely food. What's not to like?!

Easy parking, pleasant staff and lovely food. I can only vouch for the breakfast as I've only ever been there in the morning, but they do have a bar with great views of the cricket ground. Very warm with underfloor heating.

Appalling food. Latte was lukewarm and the chicken and avocado sandwich…two thick slices of dry, stale bread with large slabs of boiled chicken and overripe avocado WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DRESSING - no mayo, no butter, nothing. I had to leave the meal and go home to make myself a proper lunch. Will never go again.

Been here a few times for coffee on weekday mornings and it's a lovely place to visit. I've had excellent vanilla lattes, the staff members have been friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is quiet and comfy.
