We came to Shandar sweets from Leicester and were highly impressed with the service that was given as well as the variety of options. We purchased various sweets and baskets for a family, wedding event and everything was done to a very high and professional standard. The baskets were very nicely made, looked good, and were complimented by many. The sweets taste very nice. We usually go to other places such as Nafees however the service and quality of products at Shandar are much better. Highly recommend this place!

First time buyer, superb cakes at very reasonable price.Spotless shop, very pleasant assistant even offered taster sweet. Five star all the way, buttercream second to none, even decorated name and age while I waited.Would recommend, fresh cream gateaux available daily and really good sizes.You don't even need to order (unless its special) available for any event. Delighted with my purchase, you will be too!! Guaranteed!

I was in Bradford for the Sunday market so I thought I’d try these lots mithai outThe gulab jamun were good but I’ve had betterThe barfi was nice but the Cham Cham were abit hard There are better mithai places in my hometown blackburn

To be absolutely honest I am not the best Eastern sweets reviewer because I don't have so much to compare to, but sweets at this place are always tasty, fresh and good looking. Prices are affordable so almost everyone can try it. The only one possibility is to take out and try it at home or om where else, no place for eat in. It will be very good if staff helps more with your choice, because for example I am not Pakistani an or Indian so this is not my traditional cuisine and all sweets are not familiar for me, so just advice--help to your customers for best choice and they will come again

Really good cakes I always pop in for a slice excellent customer service. I know one of the guys well in there top lad. Besides having slices of cake I've bought some pakistani sweets for my mum which she enjoyed. Also try out their donuts they've just started to introduce them.

This is an absolute gem of a place. Never realised I would get such personal and genuine level of service from an indian sweet shop..The sweets were really tasty to top it all up. Would recommend highly!!
