I have bought a house as a first time buyer using Lockings as solicitors, so I was not familiar at all with the whole process. They were recommended by a friend and their prices were very competitive compared to local solicitors. Their factsheets were really informative for someone without experience, and despite everything was handled remotely, the communication by email was effective. I felt that at some points the communication could have been more personal, but I appreciate that the team worked hard (special mention to Katrina Turnbull) and there were times when they were checking emails at late times to keep us updated when we were working towards a tight completion date. I wouldn't hesitate using their services again.
