A great butcher shop staffed by a wonderful group of characters. The meat is fresh, of good quality and cooks up oh so well (depending on your skill, if you can burn water, I'm not sure it'll help you!). Always busy, they'll still take the time to make sure that you get the cut that you want, not one that they have lying around as a leftover (although if you want it, they'll sell it to you).Best butcher around and beats the quality of some of the pricier butchers elsewhere.

Always friendly service and a smile at Barretts. Prices comparable to ocado but with less plastic packaging and no meat nappies. Great to buy exactly what I need instead of in packs. A local gem

Been here a few times over the years. Good produce. Usual guys are friendly but today some guy wasn't partuclarly friendly. Cleaned the mincer by 4pm so can't be used, dude was short-tempered. Plenty of other butchers around, so...

Artists with their meat. Gentlemen with their customers. They can prepare special cuts for the holidays and will even tell you the best ways to cook them. Great for the everyday too. A fantastic neighborhood establishment.

A fantastic butcher's shop, where you can go to get everything you need to prepare an amazing dish. Their meat is very fresh, good quality and excellent value for money.It's a pleasure to visit there as the personal service is exceptional by the wonderful group of individual characters, something you don't receive if you simply visit the big supermarkets for your meat. They are always accommodating with any request you might require.Keep up the excellent work and all the best!

They are simply the best and most loved butcher. My family has been getting the best quality meat and fresh produces from them for many years. These hard working men, not only keeping their shop open during the lockdown, they helped those who need to be shielded. We are very grateful.
