excellent customer service, I went to the store when they were about to close the doors but they welcomed us pleasantly.the Girl on the floor Lacey, was very friendly and helpful.the warehouse people have already left but she didn't think for a second and cut the carpet for me.she saved my day.I would highly recommend this store

Got a great deal on some bedroom carpet for my daughter’s room. She couldn’t decide a colour so they let us take lots of samples to look outside the shop. The carpet fitters came today and were friendly, caring of property, nice happy guys and quick workers and they left no mess and put the bed back for me. Very happy with this service. Would recommend 100%

Shop staff were helpful, but had problems with the fitters - hiding rolls of carpets around the house when they left, not installing underlay in cupboards and not using paper to line the floor. Be careful, as fitters are effectively sub-contracted, which just makes it harder as a customer.

Things went wrong so many times, not sure even where to start.In summary, the communication is really bad. And be aware that the fitter are sub-contractor, some of them don't tell you the breakdown of the charges, make sure they do that, and it might be different sub-contractor doing the work for you on different days, so don't pay anything they haven't done for that day, and don't pay by cash even they demand so. (The shop didn't tell any of these to us apart from said they are contractor.)We had a lovely visit to the shop, the staff gave us the impression that they are professional, we were happy when we paid the material and left the shop.Then things gets wrong from the point that the stuff came to house to measure up, of course we didn't know something went wrong until the day of the fitter turned up, said that they didn't have enough materials provided by the shop! And it's not only one thing, carpet, latex, LVT... all short in different days as the result of the initial measurement were messed up.Then when the fitter (sub-contractor) told me they have repeatedly told the Carpetright to call me to explain the situation and rearrange things, there was nobody call me, then I had to call in many times, and some times they took the call said will call me back and then again they don't!Finally, I got the email from the manager after I said few times I want to make a complain, who told me to call them for a bit of refund after the fitting is done, again I called, then someone passed me message said the manager will call me back to arrange that, which that didn't happen. I then need to call again, then got told the refund can't be made through phone call, I have to physically go to the shop to do it.I thought that might be end of it, then it turned out they put my email address and phone number to someone else order. I received Fitting appointment notifications (which I questioned them, they said it's admin error), yet I still received calls from the fitter who suppose to go to a different customer's address to do the fitting.The whole experience is awful and stressful. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.I'm scared to write negative comments, as they know my home address and phone numbers. But people deserve to know the fact, it might be other people had good customer experience here, we certainly didn't.
