Sew Confident Dundee

I have done a few classes with Sandra and her team during 2021 and loved them all. You are guided through each pattern, with everything explained really well to give you the confidence to give it a go! Everyone is always really friendly, no question is to silly to ask (multiple times!) and the classes are great fun. I’d highly recommend them.

Outstanding experience once again having a sewing weekend with Sandra and Laura in Sew Confident Dundee. A delicious escape in the setting of Malmaison with incredible hospitality and attentive staff. Fabulous energy and motivation to help me improve my crafty skills. An unforgettable weekend. Just completed the two weekend day Beginners Sewing course - and absolutely loved it! We managed to make a tote bag, bunting, a piped cushion AND a lined makeup bag in two days and I hadn't used a sewing machine in decades - I didn't think it was possible! The teacher (Melanie) was not only a hoot, but really knowledgeable, patient and helpful with everyone on the course. The premises are lovely too - clean, organised and with everything you could want to complete your projects. The welcome was great and it was really just great fun all round. I've come away feeling like I could have a go any any of the projects at home - which is great! I'll be back for another class! MASSIVE thanks to Sandra & Melanie!

Attended the master zip class with Laura, and as with all the other classes I have attended with the sew confident Dundee team, it was fun and informative. I now feel confident to add zips to my sewing projects. Thank you.

Would highly recommend Sew Confident Dundee! I recently completed the Beginners Sewing Class and absolutely loved it. Melanie and Sandra were really lovely, so helpful and friendly and I learned SO much over the 2 days! Looking forward to booking another class in the near future.

I attended my first class with sew confident in July it was friendly relaxed class good tuition but would have been better if there was one flat machine set up enabling sewers to complete garment if they wished I will be back to attend other classes in the future

I have attended the beginners sewing night classes and the machine doodles class. I loved every minute. I have made a Stevie blouse and a few other bits and pieces. I’m planning on booking the Overlocker, quilted bag and backpack classes this year. I now have a sewing room and my collection of fabric grows every week (don’t tell my husband) . I would highly recommend Sew Confident Dundee and Sandra, who has totally boosted my confidence in using my machine.

Had a wonderful experience over the last two Sundays. Sandra was a great teacher and clearly explained everything. Learnt so much, with good tips and techniques. Looking forward to more courses.
