Unprofessional and uninterested service. I asked this company to change my automation and the lifting arms on my garage door which is itself, along with tracks, in perfect condition and of very high quality. However the technician from the moment he arrived was clearly not interested in this work, did not check the door balance etc and claimed it was catching on the floor when it demonstrably is not. He arrived late and spent less than 5 minutes on site. I was not surprised when the company tried to tell me the only resolution was a new door. Complete nonsense. I had already had several other quotes from other highly reputable national companies none of which made this suggestion. So my advice is go elsewhere if you want to avoid being ripped off.The response received from this company is ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. The GENUINE parts i.e the arms are readily available as anyone can check on line. The automation is of course brand new and generic to any door. I found a brilliant company that made the repair and installed new automation all of which works perfectly. They told me they were not surprised to hear of my experience with Central who only want to sell doors not refurbish. Just come clan and admit it so others don't waste their time.

Brilliant service, I contacted Central Garage Doors about a repair on the Monday by the Wednesday the repair was complete with OEM Parts, great service and great value for money. The team are very pleasant to deal with.

Went through Checkatrade to find a garage door repair company. This company contacted me but then told me it would be “at some point next week” before anyone could attend. I emailed them and asked if we could book a specific date and time as I work full time but they never came back to me. Great customer service… not. Gone elsewhere now.

Recently repaired my garage door- new cones & cables, serviced and re-tensioned. Faultless service from initial booking. Super job at great value. Strongly recommend

Unprofessional self entitled Karen driving the service van, how you can justify yourself I have no idea. Next time think
