Erith Driving Test Centre

Do not do your test here the black man that failed me was so unfair and wrong. He said I wasn’t looking at my mirrors but I was looking at my mirrors all of the time!!! In fact he wasn’t even looking at me to see if I was looking at my mirrors!! He is evil he tried to distract me many times on the test I drove so perfectly and he tried to find some sort of reason to fail me!!! Do not take your test here and to that man I hope you’re reading this and I hope you find a way to get rid of the evil spirit you carry!! He hides his face with a mask because he doesn’t want you to see him!!! I really do not know how you sleep at night knowing you failed a very safe and good driver! Never ever take your test in Erith they are evil!!!

Passed first time on my Mod 1 and Mod 2 exams for my Motorbike license and my examiner was Steve. Really lovely and friendly bloke, the instructions he gave were very clear and he put me at ease. The roads around Erith are very technical but once you get to know the roads it becomes pretty straight forward, as long as you're always looking out for the signs and markings. I went with Phoenix Motorcycle Training Sidcup for my lessons to prepare me who were also amazing.Thanks again Steve and Phoenix, had a great time today and can't wait to go on some adventures with my new license!

The examiner, Keith?, did not let me finish the exam bc I had failed in one item. He wanted to finish everything as hasty as possible, eventhough I was there to practice actuallyWhen I asked about feedback, he arrogantly refused and told me that I am not here to instruct you"

I remember about 6 months ago haven booked my test in Erith, examiner was a lady quite slim and blond looks like in her mid 50's was arrogant and loud. Lost my confidence at the start of the test, no one should be treated this way. It was a horrible experience.

Passed my driving test at Erith. Elaine was my examiner. Very calm and professional lady. Her instructions were always crisp and clear. I was told to complete a few maneuvers and every time at safe spot. Really happy with my test!

Horrendous test centre that should really be reviewed by the dvsa, the roads are confusing and difficult to navigate for seasoned drivers with hazards at every turn. As if it’s not difficult enough to find an actual test people who are so desperate to have a license are taking the slim chance at this centre which is nothing but a way to throw time and money down the toilet, as if people can afford extra expense in this economy. I have been driving around in my husbands car with his supervision for months and we both agreed I am now a confident driver but 2 minutes in the car with a miserable nasty examiner and my confident was shot to pieces! Constantly making comments that weren’t needed for things that weren’t even necessarily wrong and giving unclear instructions, not to mention the confusing aspect of being told to follow the sat nav then being told to ignore it and follow different directions. Ultimately I only failed because the blonde examiner in her 50’s told me to pull up by a coloured car on a road there was multiple cars this colour then became irritable when I pulled up by the wrong one and completely threw me off. Save your money of the test fee and go anywhere but here, there’s a reason it’s the worst in the country by a vast amount it should be shut down.

Elaine was such a wonderful examiner and a gem of a person. As learner drivers, we feel quite nervous when headed to a driving test and the last thing we want is an unfriendly and impatient examiner. Elaine was such a nice person she allowed me to remain calm and spoke in such a polite manner I was amazed examiners can even be like that. She honestly gave my confidence a boost and as a result, I was able to pass my driving test. Honestly, a person like her is what every learner driver would want to remove any tension and remain focused on the road. She would have such friendly conversations and made me smile which helped me a lot during the test. Bless her, she was telling me how her previous student had a go at her and I felt sorry because a person like her doesn't deserve this.Thank you so much Elaine for your service and keep doing what you do best! The world needs more friendly people like you!

I had a test at this centre with Elaine and she was amazing all the way through to the end of the exam.Very comforting and clear directions in advance. She understands that people can be nervous on driving tests and is understanding.Had a few bad drivers cross my path on the test including a flying van down a 20 speed limit road and another van not waiting for me on the roundabout which meant I had to slow down but I still managed to pass the test even though the traffic was appalling.I believe the reason the pass rate is low is because examiners actually examine you and they do it the right way and only put good drivers that follow all the rules on the road. That's how it should be. Learn how to drive 120% before you actually go for a test.
