The Mount Surgery
Worst GP imaginable, doctors won't listen, don't seem to care one bit about their job or their patients, and have changed prescriptions and medication doses without just cause or informing patient. Say they have prescriptions and sicklines completed but never do. Has cost a fortune in travel costs to go collect prescriptions that then turn out not to be done when we get there. Even went to gp to ask for prescription, was told pharmacy across street should have received already, pharmacy had nothing, pharmacist called gp and gp claimed we had had never been in the doctors or asked about prescription!! Absolute joke, and seriously dangerous to people with serious health problems

Simply put, doctors in this practice just don't care. If you call good luck getting an appointment, if you manage to get an appointment then pray to god they give you a call, most of the time they don't, finally if you manage to get a call from them good luck getting a doctor who is willing to literally do anything except saying that it just should go away on it's own. it amazes me that a doctor can be this careless.

My mother unfortunately was registered with this practice until her death on 4 May 2022. You have to fight to get any sort of treatment and even then it was inadequate. I have never experienced such a lack of kindness and empathy from a doctor, ever. The female doctor in particular was rude and condescending and totally lacking in compassion, why she chose to be a family doctor is beyond my comprehension. Basically you would be better advised to go to the local vet. I am now in the process of transferring my father to the practise where I am registered as I never want to repeat the experience should he ever be vulnerable and be at their mercy, it just does not bear thinking about.

I have been with this practice for over 35 years, reception staff have always been polite, helpful and responsive to any request I have asked the nurses, always go the extra mile to accommodate and are so responsive to your needs finally I have Always been treated with the upmost respect by any doctor I have seen and I am grateful for their professionalism over the years currently Dr. Chowdbury is my nominated Doctor am I am delighted with my treatment. Due to the issues with GPS not taking the time to speak with their patients or issuing sicklines in time (I called every day this week) I lost my job today.I requested many times to not deal with Dr. Chowdbury as I never felt listened to, rather pandered to. I have also had my medication changed without being told, I have had many issues collecting this medication which has resulted in a small fortune in travel costs to run around and try to find out where my meds are, getting a sickline is a nightmare and the receptionists could not be shorter or more condescending over the phone if they tried. Alongside this I am now going into my third period without the correct medication as the gp has no idea where prescriptions are meant to go. And reception even denied me being in the office when they spoke to the pharmacist no later than 3 minutes after.

Took three days off, staggered over many weeks, to try and register here. Simple reason: I'm diabetic. I just want access to the same medicines I've been taking for 9 years. Was told it'd be 'unsafe' for me to be given these same medicines I've always been taking, that I'd need to come back for blood tests and then be referred to a hospital clinic and then do a bunch of other stuff I already know about, that I told them directly I wasn't looking for. Got a once off prescription, told if I wanted more (I need this stuff to stay alive, so go figure) I'd have to do things their way.Got into an tense argument for easily 10 mins with a GP (never happened before, I've lived in several countries and am conflict avoidant by nature). They also managed to record their own address instead of mine as my home address despite my writing it down for them. When my health and care card comes in, they'll get it, and not only won't they send it to me by mail, they won't even tell me when it's arrived. Exported the responsibility of fixing their mistake to me. We'd be too busy for that kind of thing" - quote.Arrived today

Every time I go into this practice I feel like I am just a burden to the front desk staff. They are truly the rudest people I’ve ever met at a doctor surgery. Every single time I have to speak to them they are very rude to me dismissive and have caused me many issues over the last year and a half. The most recent and most annoying issue was regarding a sample I left.I notified the lazy receptionist I was leaving a sample and because she’s so lazy never got around to actually notifying the nurse that sample was left I got a call Monday morning telling me they just found my sample and now my sample is ruined so I now need to go back and make another one. I attempted to explain the situation so that I wouldn’t have the same situation happen again the front desk receptionist made every excuse under the sun including that she was probably on the phone or busy. She was not busy she was having a personal conversation with the other receptionist because I could hear it and she was not on the phone. Talking about your diet is not a conversation to be having in front of patients. The last time I had an appointment at the practice I waited at the front door for about 15 minutes because nobody stopped having a personal conversation long enough to realize that people were waiting for them and once they realized they then told me you’re late and I said no I’m not late you just need to pay attention to the front door. They are very icy and rude to my husband and I every time we come in.

Absolutely the best doctor. Would recommend to anyone. Open surgery every morning which is quite rare these days. Staff are more than friendly as is Jennifer the nurse and andrea the health care professional.

I would NOT recommend this GP surgery under any circumstances. You would be better cared for" in a vet. It was once run with pride and diligence by Henry Mckee and before him his Dad. Current GPs are known to have left inaccurate notes on my file. The place needs shut down. I suppose to try and see it from their side its not located in a great area so im sure "all sorts" are visiting. However
