Frisby Lakes Fishery

Great multi species lake that has something for everyone.Big Carp, Tench, Bream, Pike and perch were all caught during The Friendly Capers Facebook groups social!

Nice days fishing, with ample parking and fair prices

Book on at the lake and had to walk to the ballif (mark) as he didn't want to leave his peg with his rods in the water .so I payed to fish (20 pound ) and then my group went to pay and they asked him if we could drive round the lake to unload out tackle and he said we had to walk (48 acre lake )with all our tackle. a good few trips that would of took with our tackle .then he was starting to be rude and said you should of bought barrows but we didn't know this !! After we said we didn't want to fish there he offered us to fish in front of the bait shop but it was unfishable! there was a 3 ft of flat ground then a hill so if we caught a fish at night we would of been going down the hill into the lake . I asked for my money back as it was unfishable and he said he didn't know if he could and phoned the owner or manager and started being rude about us,on the phone to him finally got my money back .bad first impressions will not be returning due to lack of manners and trying to make quick money of younger anglers who he thought could trick and be rude too !!!

Great area to learn to paddle board, staff friendly and helpful.Free parking, can hire equipment at low price, take your own equipment.

Upon arrival we phoned mark (the bailiff) as there was no one to be seen at the boat house. He was reluctant to leave his peg, as he had just put his rods in and wanted us to go to him.After walking down to him he did take his rods the water out which annoyed him. As a result of his rods coming out he was condescending and rude. We made the decision not to fish based on his response and will not be returning in the future.

Fished it for 3 night not a nock, tench lake wouldn't bother if your after carp. Estimated 250 carp on 48 acre waters might as well save your money

First time here 10,08,2022 and got to say what a cracking place, I booked peg 6 and can drive straight to it,but I brought my Barrow just incase i couldn't, dan is a top man came round and had a good chat very friendly, a group of use will be back in September for a week,

Love Jasons lake but wish the builders over the road would give it a rest at wkends. Totally ruins my peaceful place lol great lakes and never had a blank when my other half has taken me with him.

Me and friends and family been fishing here for over a year now bailfs and owner allways happy to help plenty of silver fish to go after if the carp are being hard never had problem realy injoy fishing here but allways chuck a barrow in just incase

It was our 1st time fishing at Frisby lakes. We were there 7.5hrs, never caught a thing. We know weather plays a part, but really disappointed. Will try again once weather cools down.
