Accounts department are shocking, spending deposit back to someone else, had to wait 2 weeks for deposit, the store staff are very friendly and helpful

Very, very disappointed with this company. They took a booking for my husband for a delivery that never turned up! When my husband called them to find out what was happening, the booking hadn't even been recorded and there were no drivers available to deliver the vehicles. It means a whole weekend for us without being able to do any garden work.

What a great company Mark and Ross at the Halstead branch went out of their way to help me. I cannot praise them enough, fantastic well done. I would always recommend them if you need to hire equipment a very reliable team.

Hired a stump grinder which was delivered very quickly and on time by Ross who helped to get it in place , showed us exactly how to use it . Collected very quickly when we finished so it wasn't hanging around . Great service and great friendly staff well done Ross .

I've always found these guys very nice and helpful on the phone however on this occasion I hired a mini digger for one day and was told the price would be £75. After checking my bank statement I found I'd been charged £150. After speaking with Dale hire again, it seems they forgot to mention extra charges for delivery (both ways), Insurance and VAT which bring to total to £150. This would have been fine if the charges were made clear from the offset. The gentleman at Dale hire insured me they made us aware of these charges, however if they had my business would have gone elsewhere as better deals are available. Please watch out for this if you decide to use them. Also note their website doesn't state any extra charge either.

I booked and ordered a rotavator and concrete breaker for Easter weekend. Both Mark and Ross were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. They worked both delivery and pick up times around my work times as well.I really cannot rate the service high enough. Fantastic guys, thank you.
