Alot of the food and snacks tends to be past expiration date, walked to the fridges to the right of the entrance to see tomatoes rotting in the fridge, stale crisps and anaemic pork

Had a planned stop there 12 june on my John ogroats to lands end bike ride, served by friendly gent, stocked up with water and snacks to keep me going.

Brilliant little store. Friendly helpful staff. A bigger selection of products than the small frontage of shop would have you believe. Some local products as well . Has become a regular stop on way to Thurso. Wholeheartedly recommend the Caithness jams .

Located at the end of a row of cottages. Not the best Spar establishment I've been to. Very untidy, shelves and freezer lids could do with a good clean. I rated this two stars as it did provide varied selection of tinned goods and Covid restrictions were observed.
