I had a pint of the pubs own brew . A nice bitter. It wasn't busy but some friendly customers to talk to.A very nice old pub.The food is good and you must try the home made pie's.You couldn't get more filling in them if you tried. Will go back again.

This place has come on leaps and bounds from what it was when I was at school. Decent beer on tap, staff are polite and friendly and the food was very nice

Friendly staff, lovely and clean. Wasn't expecting a Sunday Menu so we didn't eat as we were set on a certain meal. Nothing to do with the pub at all, I am fussy eater and when I am set on something that is what I want. Give it a try

Excellent GBG recommended pub, with quick, friendly service. They make their own beer and some spirits. Enjoyed the White Hart Bitter, plus pork belly bap and chips for lunch. Well worth a visit.

I only visited the pub part of the pub for a very pleasant pint of beer, which was brewed on the premises in the White Harts brewery. The pub has been is currently in the CAMRA good beer guide and has been for a number of years.
