My 1st visit . Lovely fish and chips. Very good, Portion size. When I stay at my daughters again, it will be my first port of call.

I love kings Fish Bar. Service is always friendly and quick. The food is tasty, very good curry sauce, not the generic curry sauce most other take aways use. It has flavour. Portion sizes are very generous too. What more could you want?

We always get good food from here. It's reasonably priced and there's so much choice, everyone is happy. Beware the portions of chips are huge.Really friendly staff but they only take cash.

Very disappointed. Had read great reviews about this place so decided to try it. Ordered 2 cod and one large chips. Husbands cod he said was nice chips were fine my cod was full of uncooked batter under the crunchy coat. Picked some of the fish out but left most of it

Very nice fish and chips from here. Freshly cooked to order and well cooked - tender white fish in light batter and nice crisp chips. The fish and the chips were wrapped separately which kept the chips from going soggy on the drive home.Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.50 which is a bit pricey but the portions were absolutely massive - especially the chips which could have easily fed two people. I imagine the large could comfortably feed a whole family. The standard size of cod here would be a large in most chip shops these days. I would really have preferred smaller portions and cheaper prices.It was a nice touch including a slice of lemon and a sachet of tartare sauce with the fish.

Placed an ordered. 2x cod and chips. All nearly ready when we arrived. The portion of chips, I asked if that was 2 portions, no was the reply, was going to be too much, so only took 1 portion. The size of the portions are huge. The fish was a good size too. All very tasty. We will try the Chinese next time. But, think we have found our new local chippy. Thank you for your service, efficiency and politeness.

I live in Yorkshire but am from Aldershot, I just have to say this is the best place to get chips from that I know of and they are great and the portion size well just amazingly big

Fish and chips was excellent under previous ownership. Tried again from new owners and was no good. Fish was thin and tasteless. Won’t be going back. Loyal customer here for 12 years!
