I can't thank or recommend the two ladies at milk matters enough. So knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and made me and my daughter feel at ease when having her tongue tie cut thank you so much!!! ☺️

Milk Matters are the only provider for miles around that can effectively treat posterior tongue tie (PTT) and offer aftercare. My firstborn had a PTT treated in the NHS, which reattached, and I was then told nothing could be done. Charlotte team effectively treated it thanks to their aftercare plus recommendation of a bodywork approach (Osteopathy). My second born did not have his PTT even recognised but Charlotte’s team diagnosed and treated. Plus Charlotte provided emotional and practical support on the telephone, and all her advice was spot on - so knowledgable and brilliant and very approachable. I cannot thank them enough for giving me the gift of a breastfeeding relationship with my children.

I drove 400 miles to go to the clinic and it was the best decision. I am just gutted I didn’t stumble across them sooner. My little boy already had a tongue tie release with a different practitioner who failed to support afterwards. I did the distance assessment with milk matters and it was the first time in forever that someone understood the reflux issues I was having. Charlie is amazing. Within 3-4 weeks we have seen a complete change, there is still some incidents but our little boy is learning how to use his tongue properly. He’s blowing raspberries, sticking it out, babbling.

We have our appointment next Monday and already I feel so heard and listened to by Charlotte, such an understanding kind and caring lady. After being brushed off by doctors and health visitors for several weeks I was starting to feel very alone and felt like no one was taking me seriously. I was recommended to contact Milk Matters from a friend after having various feeding issues and seeing the impact of this on my newborn baby. From first booking the appointment the service has been fantastic, appointment availability was good with clear instructions on how to capture the required evidence of our issues. The first call from Charlotte was so reassuring after being dismissed from GPs etc. suggesting that we just had a colicky baby.We have now had our diagnosed tongue-tie corrected today and the service at the clinic was again wonderful, I felt heard and understood (not just a first time mum worrying), and feel further reassured with the follow on support that is available.I am thankful for the help and support so far and would recommend Milk Matters to anyone having feeding issues with their baby.

Charlotte is absolutely amazing! She has assisted and supported me through the first stages of diagnosing my sons tongue tie. Next week we are getting the tie cut and I honestly cannot wait! I have fought 8 months for this and finally this amazing woman has listen and helped me! I cannot thank her enough! I took my 10 day old here to have tongue tie assessed and was so grateful for the knowledge the girls had about feeding and tongue ties and the effect they have. All the midwives that saw her looked in her mouth and said she 100% didn't have a tongue tie but they are not qualified to assess for this, my daughters tie was posterior and so not an obvious one to the untrained eye but still causes just as much problems with oral restriction and latch.My little girl had her tongue tie snipped and had follow up after to make sure it didn't reattach. I have since learnt not everywhere offers follow up especially in NHS so much higher chance of reattachment if no follow up. It has now healed and feeding was much improved as soon as tie was snipped!Thank you Milk Matters!
