Having had a catalogue of injuries, ironically most likely caused by the wrong running shoe, I bought my next pair from Outrun.Now I am not the type of person that likes to spend money, but having relented and appreciating the fact that weight gain and couch potato life was not for me, I found myself paying a lot of money for a pair of Brooks.Scarlett spent the time and effort explaining the technology of the shoe and comparing it to what I was wearing before and placed my orthotics into the shoe to see if this was the right pair for me.Very knowledgeable about her subject and yes they have worked out very well for me. No foot issues at all and this is 6 weeks down the line.I do more walking that running at the moment but includes trails and treadmill.Very good service and highly recommended.

Went yesterday. The lady before me had a full gait analysis and (since I’ve been dealing with pain across my left foot) I was a bit disappointed I did get this either but I didn’t need it.Needless to say, the owner, Scarlett, looked at the shape of my foot, took me down a full shoe size and put me in a set of Altra’s which have a square toe box and are level.This morning, I wore them. I walked my usual running route, I had no pain, whatsoever. Even pushing a running buggy I had no pain in my metatarsals.I was in line for physiotherapy and podiatry. I take 1000mg of naproxen a day. I’ll give it a week or two, then buy proper foot shaped shoes from now on.I wish I’d gone here a long time ago.Best of luck in your retirement, think you’ve saved me from a serious injury.

Great little store. Plenty of gear for running enthusiasts of all levels. Scarlet Courtney is very knowledgeable about the right footwear for you and the brands she deals with. She is very hands on and spends a lot of time with you to make sure you get the right shoe. A very good experience.

Personal service was outstanding and for a beginner like me the advice was superb not in any way judging my total lack of knowledge or rather out of shape condition. Complete expertise in her stock and what would work with my feet and my way of running and so on. I will undoubtedly be back once I worn out these new trainers out and possibly before for other running supplies!

We came across this shop during our walk of the speyside way last year. Having set off with ill-fitting shoes I was in quite a lot of pain. The owner was absolutely fantastic. She fully talked me through what I was looking for in a walking boot / shoe, what the issues had been with my earlier pair and what type of walking shoe would suit me best. She was really friendly, knowledgeable and helped me try on different pairs until I found the perfect ones. I honestly hugged her when we left as I was so grateful as we continued our walk without me hobbling in pain! A year later and the walking shoes are still going strong.
