Ivy House Restaurant Padstow

An outstanding little gem just outside Padstow. The food was extremely tasty and presented beautifully. My duck was out of this world. The family who run this restaurant make you feel welcome and really look after you from start to finish and nothing is true much trouble. Definitely going back next time we are back inSt Merryn.

Really happy with this find. Would highly recommend. Nice little restaurant, friendly staff, some of the best fish we've ever eaten and reasonably priced.

We had a fabulous meal. We booked in main because of the google reviews which were spot on. The menu choices are small which is perfect for me as too much choice makes it so difficult to actually choose. There were four of us and two small dogs! We had all three courses and all the food was beyond excellent. The star of the menu was the fillet steak which was the best my father in law had ever had and he’s in his seventies! The lovely front of house staff are so welcoming. We will be returning.

This small family run restaurant was such a lucky find! The atmosphere was perfect, the background music just right, and the staff so welcoming… and that’s before I start on the food! Absolutely delectable! I rarely order a steak out (and usually regret it) but here it was perfect. My brother said the chips were better than Rick Stein’s (in neighbouring Padstow) and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals from starter to dessert. Highly recommend.

Lovely bed and breakfast. The restaurant is wonderful, beautiful decoration and the best food I have tried in a long time. We had Pate and Salmon with cream cheese as starters, Duck Breast and Hake with green chilli and lemon sauce as mains. Delicious!! The staff and Annabelle were very kind. Totally recommended!

OMG, what a find! Happened on this restaurant by accident, but what a discovery. The food was Michelin star class but not the price!!! I can't speak highly enough about this place, a family run restaurant in the middle of nowhere, delicious food, and impeccable service most recommended.

We had a beautiful welcome at the Ivy House... so sorry not to have caught the name of mother and daughter who accommodated us but couldn't have been more friendly and kind. Food was delicious..My boyfriend and I had the steak which was delicious. Lovely quirky garden area to enjoy your prosecco in and gorgeous interior. Will definitely be back!
