Gym on the Square
A great gym that is packed with lots of different types of strength and cardio equipment. Sessions with Steven are in groups of up to 4 people, which creates a friendly and supportive environment to help motivate you in workouts. Steven provides advice on nutrition and allows tracking of your workout progress to help you get the results you want. Highly encourage joining if looking to improve fitness!

Excellent gym in a great location in the centre of Edinburgh. Equipment and space is perfect for any gym goer. I recently was asked by the gym to speak at one of their events for their members.Jenna and Steven have been a joy to work with and I look forward to doing more with them.Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it is a great space to workout but also to improve health, well-being and meet new people. More than just a gym!

Love this gym! Steven and Jenna (and trainers Andrea and Scott) have built a great community with welcoming, like-minded members. The workouts are designed so you can see your consistent progression that pushes you while still being fun. I’ve also enjoyed the wee extras like weekend boot camps and coffee socials. I always looked forward to my sessions!

Dedicated, helpful, knowleadgeable trainer with a lot of common sense.I have known Steven for almost 2 years by being part of the Bannatyne Health Club on Queen Street in Edinburgh.I really like his approach as he understands we are all unique and therefore require a unique approach to day to day fitness and wellbeing. As a young family man its clear that his priority for his clients is to get fitter, happier and healthier at their own pace, making sure the benefits are life-long.After almost two months of working with Steven, my eating habits have improved and I feel fitter and happier despite of a national lockdown!Dani

I have been using Steven for 4 years. He is very decicated to you reaching your goals. The 1h training session goes super fast and you really enjoy doing it. Everyday is a new training, so it is never boring. I highly recommend checking this gym out. Ps excellent shower facilites too

I have been training with Steven for years now, through pregnancy and getting back into training after having two children. Steven has a lot of enthusiasm and keeps me motivated with his friendly nature and varied exercises. The new gym is great, I love working out as part of a small group as encourages me to increase my weights and push myself, but is also lots of fun! There are lots of personal touches in the gym, which makes it a place you want to be and I really enjoy training there.

By far the best facility around. The workouts are led by Steven himself, who gives hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts. Paired with the awesome music and motivated group participants - this is the perfect workout environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get in shape.

When I first moved to Edinburgh, I would walk past Charlotte Square and see a bunch of people out in the square doing a bunch of exercises. My thought?: Couldn't be me! Fast forward a few months and now it's very much me. What a team. The small group personal training sessions are just what I needed to get myself up and doing movements that I wouldn't do myself. There is a true sense of camaraderie in the sessions and the coaches hold you to account to bring out the best in you. There GOTS crew aren't just there for the physical elements of your health though. There is a hands on approach to nutrition and broader wellbeing which I think is key to building the sustainable habits that surely you're in the gym for in the first place. For me, joining GOTS has been absolutely worth it and then some.
