Would be great on a sunny day, only small inside but a big outdoor area with outdoor stage. We’ll be back when the sun is shining!Friendly staff too. Good playlist.

We came to see Declan Welsh so we didn't have any food, just a pint before the gig. Staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Gig venue upstairs was brilliant for small, intimate occasions. I think the capacity is only 100, which I love more than stadia or arena gigs.

Really great spot for gigs. The sound was excellent and sound guy was lovely. Quick and friendly service at the bar despite it being busy.

Fairly good venue. A bit tricky with the drink ordering process during the restrictions, but I expect a much smoother system when these are lifted. Staff are mostly good with only one grumpy boots encountered.

Some mates of mine travelled quite a way for a gig at this place only to discover the pub had decided to cancel it about an hour before opening time (via a hand-written note in the window). No communication with the organisers or bands, no explanation offered. We're not talking about a local gig here either, bands from Finland and London. It seems that this is not the first time this has happened either. Gig promoters and live music fans beware.
