St. Ives Pottery

We are in the St Ives area for a holiday and today we enjoyed a fantastic pottery experience with Angela. Angela is a wonderful teacher and the experience felt very personal. We loved every minute! Lots of time on the pottery wheel and we made a mix of bowls & pots to take home. We paid a bit extra to have a few of our pots glazed in colours of our choice. Angela & Chris made us feel so welcome and shared their knowledge of St Ives with us. We look forward to another lesson soon! This is a hidden gem and we would recommend the pottery experience to everyone! We had a wonderful time - a real highlight of our holiday! Jennie & Tim

Fantastic, the pots we made in the summer have arrived and we are thrilled with the out come. Even though we are rubbish at it, Angela guided us through the mess and did a lovely job glazing them. Would highly recommend giving it a go!

Bought a 1hr pottery session as a Christmas present and would highly recommend. Angela was really helpful, knowledgable and friendly and talked us though how we (as complete beginners) could start to learn about pottery throwing. We also got to keep the pots we created, which were really well wrapped for us to transport. Thank you!

Me and my partner booked an hour's class with Angela whilst on holiday to St Ives. Angela was great, very knowledgeable and made the lesson really fun. She is amazing at what she does and it was a pleasure to meet her. Would highly recommend doing a class with Angela!

We did a pottery class with Angela as a family and it was fantastic! None of us had used a potter's wheel before and Angela gave a very easy to follow demonstration and then guided all three of us through, leaving us to have a go but helping when she could see it was needed. It was an experience enjoyed massively by the whole family; perfect for a rainy afternoon. Angela is lovely and really fun, as well as a great teacher.

Amazing experience... Angela has the most patience showing us what to do... and this is now my treasure! ;)

My Husband surprised me with a one to one Intensive Class with Angela for my birthday. It was fantastic! We were both complete beginners but Angela’s patience and great tutoring meant we ended up creating some bowls and pots etc that we’re proud of! We had an hour and a half each on the wheel and loads of tools and clay provided. A brilliant experience and we will definitely be back for more.
