Slough Borough Council

Absolute joke better off talking to a duck, or a brickwall if you need to contact them. Simple dont bother save yourself the hassle. They steal stuff from a private cupboard outside the communial area ( rear garden) from a flat thats not even council or breaking any rules and then try and get the stuff back just hit with brickwalls all the time. Email bounces back they give you, you can not get hold of anyone who has a clue. Shambles of a council no wonder they are bankrupt. The whole system and staff needs replacing.

One of the worrest council in the world Slough borough Council. We left that house March 2022 but they send council tax Bill October 2022 to December 2022 with penalty also .i send all documents but they didn't agreed and they don't know any rental agreement that period. Finally we decided to pay that amount because of they send the letters to attend court and etc. I fight 3,4 days but no use. Finally they mentally decided to collect the money all peoples without reason. So All peoples be careful in few days they targeting yours

I honestly struggle to comprehend with this joke of a council and their decision making. Who on earth does the planning of road works is what I’d like to know because as a result of multiple busy roads being dug up and works done, the WHOLE of Slough has been getting grid locked for a number of days now. Are you guys asleep or high on drugs or something when planning these crucial works? We had 6 weeks of summer holidays; why can’t less busy periods of the year be used to plan and tackle works? Pathetic to the highest level possible

A bunch of idiots working for the council. This country is getting worse and worse. when you let idiots do things irresponsibly. All of us residents have to pay money to the council every year and get bad manners in return when the rubbish around the slough is not disposed of properly and cleanly (my house) when the red bin is for for scrap, so why aren't these men responsible for their work? Or is it because they hate certain individuals or, more to the point, are these idiots racist? All people's feedback was forgotten. The state apparatus is stupid.

Shame you cant leave a NO star review. Absolute shambles of a Council. Had my bins stolen recently and been informed I cannot order replacements for a few weeks until the website is updated and the required form is back up on there. Even once ordered the lead time is over 10 weeks. When i asked what i was meant to with my rubbish for the next two months i was told i have to take it to dump myself. Their offices are closer though so maybe i should consider taking it there instead?! What a joke, wouldn't take them two months to sort me out if i stopped paying my council tax!

I cant give less than 1. so i am giving 1 star.. Worst council in UK. They miss the Bin collection regularly and no one cares about it. No contact number to report it. You need to fill the online form and you wont even get any response.

The council decided to increase our council tax bill and in return we have the bins collection once at two weeks. The pestilence smell comes in waves from the bin area. We are waiting for summer heat wave. We will bring our full eurobins in front of the Council Building soon.

A complete bunch of stupid corrupt idiots who work at slough council. Didn't get back to me about my housing claim no housing officer phoned me they never replied to my emails afterwards total joke of a council. The most corrupt council in the UK taken all our tax payers money and spent it on their lavish holidays and taxis and office decorations and even pocketed it for themselves. What a corrupt bunch of knobheads all of them every single person should be sacked and the top people who run it should be jailed for stealing our money and spending it on themselves that's where it goes in their pockets. And nobody does anything about them because the UK is a corrupt country through and through and slough council proves it.

This is horror, not council. I will move as quickly as possible. My council tax bill is about 100 pounds more than last year. I need to pay from 180 a month to 280 a month and for what...? even the collection has changed to every 2 weeks. And how I can afford nearly 300 £ a month...?
