If you don't need something you will find something you don't need. Battlesbridge centre is full of interesting items to buy. It's a relaxed experience. Generally you can walk around and find items without sales pressure. There is a pub and tea rooms. Facilities and plenty of parking. Worth a visit

Very nice here and well worth a look. Needs a good few hours to get round the main building and another outdoor area 1 minutes walk away. Its like a museum except everything has a price tag which you can purchase. We have to go back to complete everything. Great shops including a large comic book type shop with loads of toys and film/game stuff over 2 floors.

Really great collection of shops with a brilliant variety of different things to buy.Main issue though is that it has very bad accessibility for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Nearly all the shops have a lip/step to get in and very tight spaces within and stairs to get to other floors. While alot of these like the stairs up to different floors can't be avoided in these old buildings, making sure ramps are present for getting into shops and enough space within them to manoeuvre wheelchairs/pushchairs should still be provided as a minimum.

My sister has just moved in to one of the work shops as a wedding dress shop and alterations. The area is so beautiful and lots of antiques and garden ornaments. There's a little cafe opposite the shop. I wish my sister all the best in her New Business Premises. ♡

This whole area is awash with Antique Centres!!! So glad I brought my fold up bike in the car…. lots and lots to see and explore. Definitely you could spend a day in the picturesque village of Battlebridge. Time for coffee and a jacket potato at The Hideaway Tearoom with panoramic views over Essex and the winding River Crouch

Absolutely brilliant antique centre ...you could spend all day here ...loads too see and on top floor is an amazing little cafe serving delicious food ...whilst there admire the great views ...loved it ...Will be coming back soon

Battlesbridge Antiques Centre
Loved it here! Can't believe I've lived in Essex for years and never been! Allow a good few hours to wander round as so much to see. Plenty of parking up the end field (which we didn't see initially). Great mix of stuff, some real treasures I would imagine. We didn't buy anything but thoroughly enjoyed a few hours here with lunch in the cafe.
