Rickyard Café
Excellent food, it's a small menu but that just means they can do the food properly, pricing is right for the location and quality! We went for a ceaser salad, fish finger sandwich and cheesy chips which didn't take long at all to come out, we've also had the burgers on another visit which are excellent too.Wide variety of drinks available, even a few ciders etc, or just stick to coffee / tea and milkshakes which are delicious but do go down too quickly.

Had a really nice breakfast, which is served until 1130. The food was hot, including the baked beans, which was a plus. Very tasty and would definitely recommend.

What a gem. Walked from the camping and caravan site and so glad we did. Firstly we were greeted at door by a lovely lady who explained what we needed to do. Always helpful as I am easily confused. Lovely menu with some great things to try. I opted for a not so healthy cake (I did walk here) and was not disappointed. Sooo yummy. The server sorted out some sausage rolls for my son who is extremely fussy with food and he rated these now joint in his number one spot. Thankfully we don't live near here or I maybe broke. So great service, great atmosphere and stunning food.

Amazing little cafe in Romsley, even for a busy Saturday morning, there wasn't a great deal of noise inside. We found a table and placed an order for breakfast and coffees, which turnaround was nice and fast.Food was incredible, eggs benedict (with a side of black pudding) were all freshly made and delicious, eggs cooked to perfection. The coffee was smooth and mellow, I couldn't see what roaster they used but was perfect for a breakfast drink.Prices are comparable to similar cafes in the area, but by sheer service alone trumps most of them. The range of cakes looked great. However, there was a lack of a vegan option. They are aware of this, so no doubt there will be some later on. The chefs are attentive to any allergies, and there are signs to inform if there are any in your party. One nice little extra is the water available. A lot of cafes offer a water dispenser with glasses, but Rickyard have pre-filled bottles to take to your table. I like this idea, as it prevents waiting for the dispenser to be available and stops people juggling multiple filled glasses if there's a group on the table.Rickyard is definitely worth a visit!

The Camping & Caravanning Club site up the road recommended we visit Rickyard Café. We called in for afternoon cake and a cuppa and we were not disappointed. I have the gluten free carrot cake and hubby had the lemon drizzle washed down with TeaPigs Green Tea and I had Peppermint. The café is dog friendly too.The building is light and airy with a modern décor. The staff are lovely and the food we had and we saw being delivered to other tables was delicious. Our wedges of cake were very generous indeed. Highly recommend a visit when you are in the area
