I rang on Tuesday before Christmas I spoke to Neil he was very helpful and as I didn't live far away he said it was ok to pop in on the Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived to a friendly chat he said Dave would help , who listened very carefully to me describe the problem I was having after dropping my Nikon. After inspecting the camera and my 500mm Sigma lens he took the camera into his workshop, returning a short time later to explain what the problem was. I left Watton (Norfolk) a very happy OAP who will recommend advancedcameraservices to all my camera friends. Neil and Dave are so friendly and listened and answered everything in easy language to the novice that I am . Thank you fellas I will bypass any shop to come directly to you . Your attitude and service cannot be bettered..

After the sensor coating on my Leica M8 perished, I was left with no option other than to sit it on the shelf and remember the good times we had together. Then I discovered ACS and thought to myself, give them a try, the camera is ruined anyway and way beyond economical repair (£1100 quote from Leica for new sensor). I spoke with a very decent gentleman called Neil, we came to an agreement that because the camera was already a brick I would not hold them responsible for any damaged caused trying to repair it... The communication has been excellent, I have had detailed explanations about the procedure and the extreme hard work involved in removing the sensor cover itself... I was offered IR conversion or I could of had an IR block filter installed making it a 'perfect M8'. (M8 owners will know about purple jackets), I decided that since I now own a Leica SL that I would go ahead and have it converted to IR. The price to do this was very reasonable indeed and the work involved was intense, however, Neil has done a brilliant job to resurrect a dead M8 and turn it into a whole new adventure, he also cleaned the camera and set the RF for IR focussing. BRAVO! fully recommend. As one reviewer already stated, if they cannot fix it, bin it.Thank you ACS.

Dealing with camera servicing and repairs, this is a factory repair site and not a shop. Although the manager is also quite happy to talk and give advice about any camera isssues and photography they don't really do much in the way of sales on site but do offer a 'while-you-wait' sensor clean.As I live within a short distance of the factory I have used the 'while-you-wait' sensor cleaning service a few times now instead of sending the camera in. I've always been advised to come back in a couple of hours but apparently this can be quicker if they are not so busy; this has never been a problem and certainly quicker than posting. There is also a discount if you visit.While I was disapointed on an early cleaning job I had done with tiny amount of dirt left on the mirror and viewfinder, this seems to of been a one off and I'm not sure what happened as all my more recent visits have resulted in a amazing job. The cleaning is noticable for not just my sensor, but I've also found cleaning done around the whole chamber including mirror, viewfinder outside and in, screen, and even the lense that was attached! The outside of the camera also seems to get a good clean. So for the money, a excellent value full round service is provided.

Sent a few pieces of Nikon equipment to Dave at ACS - Nikon expert, professional, polite and efficient, 11/10 all round service - much better than Nikon themselves :)

I read some really positive reviews on this company which is part of the reason I reached out for their help. Unfortunately I was disappointed with their service. I dropped my camera off to be fixed with a suspected SD slot card error. After them having my camera for a week and hearing nothing, I called only to be told they had no knowledge of where my camera was. I then called back the next day to be told it was still on the shelf yet to be looked at.After two weeks and multiple calls to chase this and see what was actually wrong with my camera, I was sent an invoice with no other explanation. The cost was higher than I anticipated, and so I queried this- only to be told this was due to labour, but when I pushed for more details, they could not provide them.I quickly found another company to fix my camera for £100 less, and so went up to collect it. I was told that my camera needed a new SD card slot which they had to send off for, and so it was unlikely that anyone else could fix it for less than they invoiced. I was also told it would take approximately 3+ weeks to fix.I took my camera anyway because at this point I was frustrated with the lack of communication I had received. Upon sending my camera to the other company I found, my camera was repaired in under a week for a fraction of the cost- no fuss.I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews but I just wanted to warn everyone to please shop around when it comes to camera repairs.

Once again, ACS have been brilliant. I dropped a Nikon 24-70, took it in and a week later it's all repaired and back with me. A fantastic service that any photographer can rely on when you have too. As a pro photographer I rely on my kit being in good condition and well serviced, that's why I use and recommend ACS to everyone.

They have a 6 month repair warranty. I had to send my camera back 4 months after the warranty expired. Similar-type problem (focusing) but not an exact repeat so I don't know if it was connected. They repaired if for free without my asking. Which i thought was generous of them, and professional.

I've been using ACS for a few years and they have never let me down. They have serviced my Nikon D850/D810/24-70 2.8/70-200VR2 2.8 and recently did a quick turnaround sensor clean on my travel Nikon Zfc. Absolutely the best place to go for Nikon/Canon/Sigma and many more. Prices are very reasonable and their work is spot on.

took my nikon camera to be repaired, they inspected camera to find fault whilst i was there and cleaned it, then they sent it away, came back fixed, they only charged me a handling fee and to make it better nikon fixed it for nothing even though warranty was out and even got a 6 month guarantee. great

I damaged the front element of my rf 28-70 canon lens. This is an expensive lens and so I wanted to get it repaired somewhere reputable. Having spent ages on support to Canon and not having the best experience, I was recommended ACS by someone on Facebook. I called them up and spoke to Neil and David who were extremely professional and made me feel confident that they would do as good a job as anyone in the industry. Once the part arrived, we arranged a time to get the lens to them and I specified that I needed it back asap as I had a job which required this lens. Not only did they fully replace the element, they gave the lens a full service and clean etc. I received it back promptly and very well packaged. It is now flawless and I cannot recommend these guys enough! Thank you very much! :)
