Fort Dunree
Absolutely stunning place to visit. The history, the views. Its a beautiful place with a lot to learn. There is a section you can pay into which we didn't do. There's a free museum and you can walk around the barracks. There's a lighthouse you can walk to if the road is open. The views were spectacular. Definitely worth a visit and there's a lovely coffee shop.

Such beautiful views from the Fort. There was an informative video to watch to get you started on the tour. Lots of interesting displays throughout. There is a coffee shop and toilets on site. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful place to see. You can park for free, but you have to pay to visit inside the fort (€8 for adult). If don’t want to pay the admission fee for the fort you can walk around the fort and the military camp for free. They have a small exhibition for free at Saldanha suite showing the wild live around the fort and see, and another small military exhibition. At the end you can have a coffee at the coffee place located beside the car parking.

Interesting place to visit, military history since the Napoleonic wars. The museum has a small change, but great outdoor spaces to see for free, great views out to sea. Will visit again as we only had a limited time.

Really great site and our kids found it very interesting and enjoyable but some of the displays need cleaning, updating or a little more attention. The views are breathtaking and worth a look even on a rainy day. The plans to upgrade that are on display would no doubt make this a 5* location.

Worth visiting if your passing. A lot of interesting stuff in the museum. Magical views. And cool little abandoned village to explore. Kids loved it. Cafe on site.

A fantastic site to visit, lots to see, lots to learn. There’s the indoor museum which is very interesting and then you can walk around the camp and see the old building as well as someIncredible views. There is a also a center for conservation. Finish the whole trip at the coffee shop!

Great morning out for the family. Recommend taking in a walk around the. The scenery is stunning. The museum takes around 60 mins to work your way around the full exhibition.
