Very helpful staff, and great choice of paints and colours.

Great customer experience. Staff are helpful, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable about the products.They mix the paint colours on site, meaning the quality is always on point leaving a great finish. Prices are a bit higher than the normal shops, but this is trade quality products not one and done like you get at B&Q.

Abysmal customer service here. The visit was on 22nd August around 10-1030 and it was a male assistant. visited the shop to purchase some paint and was greeted with condescending and chauvinistic behaviour on a simple request for some paint which I was told was 'retail only' so they didn't have it and was expected to have known that. Was spoken to in such a derogatory manner which I'm sure if it was a male customer would have been treated in a different way. Brewers on the other hand who employ many female staff were amazing and I would recommend them hands down after this experience. Take note Johnstone's, some core training is required for this individual to bring them up to modern standards and human behaviour.

Absolutely terriable service I use Johnstone all across the country and this is the worst I’ve been to staff need to change jobs if ther not happy doing their job on a daily basis instead of giving the customers grief,too much of an attitude,staff should be reviewed

Customer service was great, we bought paint for all our bedrooms, the staff was very helpful with picking the right colours and the right paint.

Tried charging me double for paint, poor customer service- the manager was unhelpful and didn’t have a clue about paints- wouldn’t expect this from a decorating centre, better off buying paint and decorating stuff from screwfix or wickes down the road.
